This is my own personal theory to ya question(straight from GETTO).

Human body has it own elastic limit just lyk normal elastic you know.
When the skin can't contain the "expansion", there will be strain which result to stretch marks.

Now, females have soft skin compared to guyz wey na natural kpako by nature. The only exception na mostly ajebutter and semi ajebutter, wey dey blend anyhow without exercise.

stretch marks only appear on the soft part of the body e.g buttock,around armpit, lap, around waitin dem dey call the pivot wey near elbow self, back of the leg, breast etc.
The aforementioned are the softest part of the body, so! Can't withstand much elasticity,due to excessive growth that those part can't handle.

I don't actually blame females with stretch marks,bcs of their nature. But a guy with stretch marks is a lazy babylon to me.
