we are talking of suicide bombers and u are here talking about petty criminals. i am down here in SS so i need not ur sermon about creeks or swamps. Because the military has been unleashed doesnt mean there still wont be community collaboration. Military option had serious successes in the past.

It had success when Nigeria crude production went down to about 0.48m barrel/day with the economic on doldrums and Y'aradua government forced to roll out amnesty? I don hear you.

I never said that. They are criminals in the eyes of the law.
However they don't go using knives to cut people's neck and show the clips on youtube. They do not have religious or sentimental ideology for killing people, its pure greed and stealing plus sabotage. What they crave for can be addressed by force or dialogue however our guys in teh NE have no bearing,no handle to start from we do not even know what they want.

Kindly quit disrespecting the lives that were lost and people disabled permanently for life with your shameless attempt to justify terrorism.

So bombing innocent Nigerians is permissible if warning is given beforehand? Gosh the way you people reason is nauseating.

Below is a letter from BH also warning people to stay away from polling stations because of planned attacks. I guess by your IPOB reasoning, they're not liable for the victims of their attacks since they were warned. How pathetic.

I repeat, all terrorists, whether northern or southern, are valid targets of the Nigerian Army for taking up arms against innocent Nigerians.

Buhari while responding to whether it was fair to say a group which killed over 65 persons in a single attack
had been technically defeated, said, “Well, that’s your own description of it. My own description is that they can no longer mobilise enough forces to attack police and army barracks and destroy aircraft like they used to do. They can no longer do that.”

You can keep playing ostrich and defending terrorism, it cannot change the fact that all terrorists are one and the same, and will be treated as such.

Even BH has its supporters in the NE, are you suggesting that because BH is fighting for freedom of those that want an Islamic caliphate, it means their killings are justified? That's what you're implying by saying the several rapes and killings of innocent Nigerians by ND militants is justified because they're fighting for 'federalism' (especially when we both know they're truly fighting for their pockets).

I will not strive to enlighten you further since its pretty clear you're deliberately being obstinate, as I cannot believe anybody can be so daft and twisted in thinking to justify terror like you're doing.

Good bye.

U don't still get it do? Be it mend, boko haram etc they are all criminals.
What ffucking true federalism do people like General Boyloaf, ateke, Asari or Tompolo etc want? Are they not the mend in question here? Are u blind to see that these shameless kind are all after their pockets and nothing more? What emancipation did they give their people when they selfishly continue to receive billions directed to their pockets by jonah-daft cronies?.......gosh.....Even tompolo that fugitive duped his own people with billions that the people had to come out to declare the money paid by him is less than half a billion. Yet u still want us to believe that the fraudster is fighting for his people be defrauding them. Mend or whoever they call themselves aren't fighting for anyone's emancipation but their pockets. Recent developments have proven this several times.
Does this mean that the people of ND do not have legitimate needs, of cos they do. I know this not because I was told but because I Av seen it myself with my two eyes and I live with them, but to think that thieves like tompolo, Boyloaf, ateke are fighting for this cause is plain silly. Trust me.[/b]

robosky02:

ABUJA—Determined to end oil theft and vandalism of oil and gas pipeline in the Niger Delta region, President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, in Abuja announced the deployment of military and task forces to the region.

Another reason for the deployment of troops, the president said, was to stop the kidnapping of citizens for ransom in the coastal areas of the country.

The president also said that his administration was concentrating on the resettlement of displaced persons and rehabilitation of infrastructure in the North East.

President Buhari made the disclosure at a meeting with a delegation from the United States Institute of Peace in his office at the Presidential Villa.

He assured the delegation that the task forces, coupled with his administration’s ongoing war against corruption, will be executed within the ambit of the law.

He explained that mechanisms had been put in place to ensure respect for human rights in the fight against terrorism.

“We attach great importance to human rights. If there are breaches, they will be investigated and dealt with,” he said.

Buhari, in a statement by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, said his administration welcomes the growing international support, especially from the United States and Europe, for Nigeria’s efforts to end the Boko Haram insurgency.

The President also expressed happiness with the support of Nigerians for the cardinal programmes of his government, the security of the country, the war against corruption and the revival of the economy, which he said, would continue to be vigorously pursued.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nancy Lindborg, who led the Institute’s delegation, applauded the progress made by the Buhari administration in ensuring greater security in Nigeria.

She promised the continued assistance of the Institute for the reconstruction and development work going on in the country

Very good one from President Buhari! The child that says his mother should not sleep, will also not sleep. When Boko Haram turned some of the Northern states to a War zone, who suffered it: the bombings, the maimings, the killings, the rapings, the beheadings, the terrors, the torment, the insecurity, the poverty, the losses, the carnage, the destructions, the displacements etc? Was it not the people living in that zones? Whereas, other Nigerians in other places were living their normal lives everyday without a single bother with the things the northerners were suffering in the affected places. So well the Niger Delta militants can carry on to make the Niger Delta another war zone. It's the Niger Delta people that will suffer it most. But after you turn your regions into a war zone, don't start fleeing to the Southwest to hide because as you lay your bed, you must lie on it, and not on another person's bed.
