Two hours....Resumed at 8am, sacked myself at 10am. Funny thing is that it was my first job post-NYSC.

Had resumed on a Monday with the intention on pushing for a pay rise. MD/CEO introduced me to other staff during the weekly Monday meetings and they all welcomed be on board. I walked into the MD's office shortly after to sign the offer letter with the hope that I would renegotiate the terms. She refused to bulge on her terms and told me I could walk away from the offer if I felt it wasn't right for me. I signed the letter under some form of pressure and I left her office

I was given my desk, my PC, a writing pad and a pen subsequently and just before my system would finish booting, I asked to see her again. After some time, she requested my presence and I apologized for signing the offer letter earlier as I wasn't thinking rightly. I withdrew my commitment to the offer terms and she gladly shook my hands and wished me the best in my endeavours. My friend who introduced me to her boss was shocked to the marrow but I had no time to explain to her on the spot. I had to leave in a hurry and explained via email later.

I spent 4yrs & 4mnths, left after receiving insults, from my Boss nd she is Not d proprietor/proprietress. She even said we are all scarfold that we May be removed wen dey ar done usin us. I immediately started a Computer biznex centre nd thank God today my testimony is amazing. Two photocopier, two printer,two system, bindin, laminatin machines etc, just remainin container, but managin front of my house. Praise God!!!

2 months ooo..Hmm.The manager (a female divorcee) didn't allow me rest.
It was a hospital..Every patient DAT came for treatment, came because they wanted to sleep with me(according to her)..Accusations left,right and centre...Slashed my salary because I was ill on a particular day and couldn't make it to work..I left.

Three years that looked like eternity. I was promised pay rise after 6 months probation. But that didn't come. I applied elsewhere and was asked to resume, which I did. On the day that I resumed, my former boss called me around 9.00am threatening to give me a query for late coming. I then told him in the most courteous way that I have resumed in my new office.

I quit immediately I entered the workplace and was screamed at by the supervisor while carrying out my first task.

I told him to go eat shít if he lacks simple leadership skills and that I also know how to scream too.

Then I picked my things and walked out.

Never took the job seriously anyway, just wanted to make a few euro while doing my other student job then.

That was many years ago. I can't try that now in my corporate job even though those are too intelligent to blatantly scream at Co-workers.

I was asked not to come again for no solid reason. I'm so sad n in pain but I know God will heal my heart.! My boss kinda like me, try all means to get me but I'm not just dat kinda gal. Wen I got to work today,he told d secretary to ask me leave b4 he returns n d funny part is dat dis dude hasn't paid me.

Mmeenn water don pass garri oh!.. .My own was pretty funny. I'd just left skol, finished up my final exam and was expecting my result. I quickly got to the dept ofx and collected "to whom it may concern" letter. I wanted to start looking for job while I awaited my nysc posting. . .so many things were on my mind. Firstly, I decided to look for sales jobs cos that shld be easier, I quickly prepared a "1-page" CV, oboy! Na only I.T 6-month experience dey there. . . I made up mind to get smthg doing and start making money!. . . .how did it go? . .
I listed some coys where I could possibly be engaged, I later narrowed it down to few coys with close proximity . One day, I woke up pretty early, I'd my shower and dressed up. I'd this 3- in -1 printer lyk that, it scans, prints and can make photocpy, so I quickly make lyk 20 copies of my cv "quite funny I swear". I left home looking like a Banker. . .
I decided to walk to "company x" closest to my residence. I never knew anyone working there so I thought, "these company's drivers can be of help, let me meet them" as I arrived at the company car park, I walked to one of the drivers. I told him I was looking for a job cos I was tired of staying at home and I handed him a copy of my Cv. He replied, "My son too has finished his nysc since last year and still staying idle, this our country self na God go help us." I quickly moved to other drivers but no help seemed coming from them (they all looked so frustrated like an hausa man climbing mount everest) . . .Fast forward to how the game changed! ! ! . . .

About 2 years ago. I worked for 2 Months, 21 Days. Evil boss, dumb Managers with very low self esteem who thought I was going to usurp their positions. I had no specific job description so i did everything ranging from IT to errand boy, berger to lekki ph1 everyday yet no pay for 2months...hell no. I left the shit hole, apparently, I had left a gorge they couldnt fill up, so evil boss started sending messages and people to me, telling me to come back. I told him to take his job and shove it up that place where the sun never shines. It felt so good, I felt like a boss. A week later got a higher paying job close to my place of residence.

Thank God for you.... May his light shine over me too.! Amen

here is my story;
I worked at a popular entertainment news site but had to quit after two weeks cos they are are axx-holes no jokes.

I also worked for a dumb "wanna be" music label & studio but the spoilt kid who owns they establishment doesn't know sh*t about music biz and would rather be the CEO and rapper instead of signing good talented artists even though he is damned lame when it comes to rapping.

long story short, I am now self employed and makes hella cash on my own now mahnnnn ☺

Three Months.

Got the job as an IT student while I was actually doing my Masters at Uniport.

Managers and colleagues suspected as I performed beyond expectations and produced solid results and exceeding my targets.

While they were thinking of offering me pay rise, I got a six digit job with a multinational with an official ride and lots benefits and responsibilities.

The entire management wished me well when informed them.

Leave this month end have been working wit the company for 5yrs working as Sales Executive to Logistic from Logistic to PA, from PA to marketer, from Marketer to purchaser, from Purchaser to Secretary from secretery to errand girl. Been a single mother of two children am the one in charge of their feeding,clothing shelter everything still no promotion, all I end up getting was dat she employed anoda person telling me to teach her all hv been doing,I only hv SSCE buh lotz of experience.she now regard me as nothing and been too tribalistic,just frustrating my life. Am confused as I served her faithfully just cos she felt I hv no hope getting a better job with SSCE.hv beg her to loan me some money enrol as part time student instead she makes things worst for me.

in western countries, your experience counts a lot even if you have no papers. Your boss is an a-hole. But forgive her no harbour grudge.
