I agree the website isn't smooth but your e wallet doesn't get debited unless you have actually been registered, at most it keeps taking you back to your edu portal homepage with the ewallet intact several times until it's successful. If you've been debited it means you have been registered.

No. That a result hasn't been released and shows in registrable courses doesn't mean you will pay for the exam and register it again. It is because the result hasn't been released that's why it still showing. If you do exam now and after some weeks that results haven't been released before another semester begins, you will see all those courses you did their exams in the registrable courses. Until when results are released (and of course if you pass them), they will still show in registrable courses. I hope you understand it.

Sir, kk...but what about my case...I registered for a core exam and didn't write it. But I have attained the minimum 42units required. Do I need to go back and write the exam or ignore...??

Someone help me do this finding as i will appreciate so much.

I have done 42 credit units required for graduation as Msc student. However, i registered for an exam last semester which i did not write and the course is a core course. So my question is must i write it to graduate?? Or it can be ignored since i never sat for the exam?? Speedy response will be appreciated. Thanks

my understanding of university system is,
a core courses re compulsory .even if u exceed units to graduate, they rather remove out of ur electives.
try and do it bro to avoid any unplayable eventuality.

Can anyone please provide me answers....

Computer Science Course registration for 100 Level First semester has total of 13 courses with 26 Compulsary units while only 24 units are allowed to be registered.

What can be done to solve this problem?
Should i drop one compulsary course or is this simply a problem on noun portal?

Anyone facing the same problem?

Is not compulsory you register complete 24 credit unit, you can register less than that, then u do the remain ,next semester.the portal has been programmed for 24 credit unit as maximum .

One question please! How do NOUN students (PGD in Info Tech) write exams? Do I have to be physically present at an exam center or can I write CBT at my leisure (possibly at home)?

Secondly, can I still register for a PGD even tho two TMA dates have passed?

I'ld be really grateful for a response

Noun in not full time either. Our motto is work and learn. Very flexible. Requirement: It depends on your choice of course of study. However visit noun.edu.ng for a detailed requirements.
There are 3 study centers in Lagos; Obalende, Ikeja and A papa.

Well detailed, Senesco. Thanks a mil'
Taking the steps after the bank payment..

*Locate a nearby tutor center for screening (how is the screening like; orally or POP?

*For course registration: how many courses are required for Bsc Accounting?

*The kind of work I do only permit me to attend lectures on weekends ONLY (Saturday and Sunday). Is NOUN really for people like me?

*Anybody from Sango Otta know if there's a center around here? (Ikeja is kinda far - still)
Screening is neither oral nor pop. It's just physical verification of credentials (that I know for Bsc).
* There are 3 study centers in Lagos : Obalende, Ikeja and Apapa (unless if there is a new one)

* 25 unit courses highest per semester.

* Noun is actually for people like you. No lecture really but facilitation.

I just completed an M.sc in information technology with NOUN, am really surprised that out of the 7 courses I did inclusive of my project research work only 3 results were released and the other 3 including even the project that was graded after completion and submission haven't been released, I just hope there's no issue and the courses will still be released, nyone with same issue pls
Cos the wait is becoming frustration.

Whats up with this inconsistency of this TMA portal. I can't see the TMAs for all my registered courses, though I do saw them when TMA first came out. And am yet to complete my TMAs, anyone experiencing this inconsistency also?

Hello house,

Can somebody clarify to me please:

I'm taking PGDE at NOUN, this is my first semester.

For PGDE, if you take four (4) TMA's, is it going to be over 40, or over 30?

Please also tell me, if i complete my project this year, will i be able to Convocate by January 2017? i'm asking because i hear people say something like 3rd semester, does it apply to PGDE? What is the minimum duration to complete the programme (PGDE) please?

Thanks,

Embittered Students Drag Management Of NOUN To Court

Show of shame, the students are just wasting their precious time. If they don't like the way things are going in the school they should quietly leave.

Motto is Work and Learn, what is the essence of a Student Union? Poppycock!
