Hi ZillyO and Swappylove, I have been going through your post since morning. This my question that I need help, we are planning to have our second baby in the US due in september, but we have started prep asap as its not easy to save money. We have someone that stays in Fortwoth Dallas, but you know the issue with the busy life of these Americanas, they cant help with looking for good and affordable hospital. Kindly suggest a very good and affordable hospital to us to contact, even though we have contacted some but still not satisfied. Pls help out. Thanks in advance.

If your host is a Tarrant County resident then count yourself lucky and head for JPS- John Peter Smith hospital and access their maternity package totalling $4,500

Or you can do Baylor Hospital, Dr Stimage is surprisingly $800 but hospital is either $3,750 or $5,700 depending on how u contact them. But Dr Stimage is at Carollton just 30mins away from Dallas

Just search for hospitals in Dallas, a lot of people here have gone to Dallas

Thanks so much, I really appreciate. These figures, does it include doctors fees for JPS?

How do i contact baylor to get this 3750USD?

Do you have any Dr you can recommend in JPS?

Thanks in advance.

@leakytribe,

frisco so revised their price, that i almost had a heart attack

price is now $30k, no matter how you contact them, but doctor prices are still in the lows of $1,500

some other baylors in dallas are still within $5k range, have deiced to do texas presby plano instead, same quality as frisco baylor .

wil also have to check baylor frisco physically and hear the $30k face to face before i port to plano

Haha!

We experienced the same thing then. I was so sad cos I used them for my first and I was looking forward to it again. When I saw the $30,000 I almost cried.

Ported to Texas Presbyterian too but I'll still check when I get there this month because Baylor is amazing and I can't get over it. $3,750 to $30,000. How?

Lol

Pls is there a way to know if someone is using ur child's SSN for tax return. I remember one of my kids own didnt arrive before i returned to Nig, only for my host to bring the envelope open. Hian. Pls is there a way to confirm if it's being used?

That is what he plans to do but we said we aren't interested . The man just dey para on the phone for almost 30 minutes say I turned it down. That he discussed with his wife before telling us. The wife was positive I was going to agree but he doubted her. He knew I wouldn't agree with it, why is he now upset? After all, wasn't that his expectation of me? I tire o!

Hmm this is criminal. You can call the tax revenue agency to check. And if its being you, report it

Out of curiosity, i decided to read this thread and I must say you ladies are one of the bravest i have met. Going to the USA alone, some renting apartments alone, and doing all possible to secure a better future for your children. Kudos! Kudos!!! to you all. I am a huge fan.

I sent this link to my friend who i tried my possible best to bring to Canada to have her baby, she thought the hassle was too much (despite all the assistance we offered). I told her to read the comment of brave young women.

Again Kudos to you all!!!

When I called the hospital I was given that $5,700 but when I called Dr Stimages office I was given $3,750 plus Epidural. Though they said there's another little fee I will need to pay the person that will administer the Epidural
