After This Post, Richiez , olawalebabs , Fynestboi & Lalasticlala Should Stop Paying Attention To Those UnPrepared/ Dull Candidates Calling For The Scrapping Of JAMB 2016. Because, As Far As You Are Intelligent, You Must Definitely beat The Mere 180+ Cutoff Mark, Even If Your Result Was Poorly Marked.

Jamb Has Been In Existence Since 1978. And It Has Been The Only Body Screening Secondary School Leavers Before Post Utme Was Introduced In 2005.

Fast forward To 2015 When CBT Was Fully Introduced, Its Safe To Say That It Was Success. And Now 2016, And I Must Say It Is A Huge Success As Well. For All Those Screaming #RemarkJamb2016 / #ScrabJamb2016, I Am Sorry To Say You All Are Dead Heads, Empty Brain.

Before You Throw Stones At Me. I Also Wrote This Years Jamb And Scored 243, Reason Was That I Prepared 100%. I Got All My Essential Chemistry, Physics, Maths & English Text Books. Plus Downloaded The Syllabus Of Each Subject & Read It Word For Word. (That's The Criteria For Passing JAMB)

I Didn't Rely On Past Questions Like Most Of You Did. I guess That's The Reason Why Y'all Failed. Also, Most Of Y'all Spent All Your Time On Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter While The Wise Ones Was Busy Preparing.

Plus Those Of You Making Stupid Suggestions On Scrapping Jamb, Meaning Whosoever Passed WAEC Would Just Go And Sit For Post Utme. WTF
WAEC Is The Most Corrupt Exam Body, As SS3 students No Longer Write WAEC By Themselves. They Now Depend On Miracle Centers.

My Advice To Those Who Scored Below 180 In This Years Jamb Exam Is: Quit Most Of Your Online Activities & LOVE Your Book. For God's Sake What Is Wrong With This Indomie Generation

That you were fortunate to be among the sizeable few number of people who beat the cutt off does not put you in a position to come out point and black mouth-thrashing those who found themselves in unfortunate circumstances that led to their failure

To those of you claiming Nigerian students are lazy I have just a question for you-
Why did Jamb add 40marks to scores of Candidates if they are so sure of their computers?
The fact that they added 40marks should be able to tell you that even the big guys over there at Jamb know they made a mistake.

One of the JAMB official have already released a statement expressing regrets on this years JAMB exam , and u are talking like those who are getting poor scores are all dull. It would have been better if u kept ur score to yourself and not creating a misleading thread .This problem is general.

You haven't even written post ume you are already raising shoulder like who don matriculate sef. With this your score you would still need to do a lot of preparations for post utme .especially if its a competitive course and a federal university.

First and Foremost, I am not a candidate for this year exams neither do I know anyone writing or have written the exams this year.

The OP attributed the Failure of the candidates to lack of adequate preparation among others.

however, many other factors can contribute to the failure of the students, which may include:

HOW THE EXAMS WAS CONDUCTED

THE ISSUES THAT HAPPENED BEFORE AND DURING EXAMINATION (SERVERS GOING DOWN)

AMONG OTHERS

I am happy the OP scored 243 and he NEVER stated that this center or during his exams, there were issues regarding SERVERS, UNEXPECTED SHUTTING DOWN BY THE SYSTEM, AMONG OTHER REPORTED ISSUES.

IT OBVIOUS THAT THE CONDUCT OF THE EXAMINATION THIS YEAR IS AN ABSOLUTE FAILURE. and JAMB ADMITTED BY ADDING 40MARKS TO SOME CANDIDATE INITIAL SCORES...

IF THE EXAMS ARE PROPERLY CONDUCTED, WHY DID JAMB ADD 40MARKS?

It true that some failed because of their failure to prepare and some are not just good enough to pass

Like I said before:
WAY FORWARD...

1. Jamb should re conduct FOR THOSE NOT SATISFIED WITH THEIR RESULT.

2. Written Exams should be adopted

LONG RUN WAY FORWARD

JAMB should forget about conducting exams

Students to make choices of Institutions through JAMB

Jamb in Collaboration with Each Institutions should conduct exams for choose each institution.

Jamb should monitor and supervise each institution admission process to give room for MERIT before any other criteria.

Jamb is Admission and Matriculation Board not WAEC or NECO .

am one of those people that were given low mark...coz u scored 243 on dis year jamb does not make you a God...I wish you knows what my last year score was
above 243 with more than ten marks... but the issue here is(they said I scored 210 which can never happens due to what am made of...I expected nothing less than 285 and here u are scoring 243 and blabbing about it....Re think(ovmy script can be remarked I will highly appreciate it

But if the results are remarked many candidates will be favourfavoured. The results can't be down marked but rather add extra mark, due to the gross complaints.

After burning the midnight candles, reading day and night, suspending every other things because you wanted to pass your jamb, then you got to the exam hall and the following things happened...

The computer you were given, always take you back to your number 1 question every 15mins, making you start all over again, thereby wasting the limited time you were given.

Then 15 questions wasn't showing in your English language questions...

You complained to the invigilators and they tried all they could to make it right, but no success.

Due to the way the system was taking you back to the first question, you couldn't answer all the questions...

Then you returned home frustrated and angry, and the next day your checked your result only to find out that your score is low...

Mr 'hardworking and intelligent‘...will you accept the result calmly or protest against it?

I need a sincere answer from you, because you're here claiming what you're not, simply because you were lucky to get 243

The OP attributed the Failure of the candidates to lack of adequate preparation among others.

HOW THE EXAMS WAS CONDUCTED

THE ISSUES THAT HAPPENED BEFORE AND DURING EXAMINATION (SERVERS GOING DOWN)

AMONG OTHERS

I am happy the OP scored 243 and he NEVER stated that this center or during his exams, there were issues regarding SERVERS, UNEXPECTED SHUTTING DOWN BY THE SYSTEM, AMONG OTHER REPORTED ISSUES.

IT OBVIOUS THAT THE CONDUCT OF THE EXAMINATION THIS YEAR IS AN ABSOLUTE FAILURE. and JAMB ADMITTED BY ADDING 40MARKS TO SOME CANDIDATE INITIAL SCORES...

IF THE EXAMS ARE PROPERLY CONDUCTED, WHY DID JAMB ADD 40MARKS?

It true that some failed because of their failure to prepare and some are not just good enough to pass

Like I said before:
WAY FORWARD...

1. Jamb should re conduct FOR THOSE NOT SATISFIED WITH THEIR RESULT.

2. Written Exams should be adopted

LONG RUN WAY FORWARD

JAMB should forget about conducting exams

Students to make choices of Institutions through JAMB

Jamb in Collaboration with Each Institutions should conduct exams for choose each institution.

Jamb should monitor and supervise each institution admission process to give room for MERIT before any other criteria.

Jamb is Admission and Matriculation Board not WAEC or NECO .

But Sir, Only The 27th & 29th Had Errors In English Language Only And They Were Awarded +40.

Every Other Day Did Not Experience Such Errors.

Both Candidates That Was Affected By Server Errors & Those That Weren't + Plus Those That Are Dull Are Taking It As An Excuse For Not Doing Well In The Exam

Op congrats on ur jamb score, u tried----BUT I dnt think u calling odas lazy is right, dt u passed jamb wasn't by ur strength or hw intelligent u claim u are bt simply b/c u wia favoured. Wat I expt frm u is to thnk God for he's favours n interced for those dt didn't pass, ask God to comfort them n pray dt nxt year ll b beta for them. And to those dt jamb didn't favour ds year, dnt give up pls------i kw wat ur passin thru cos I hv bn dia-----bt God ll always show up evn wen ur faith cnt carry u anymore. During my year 2 in d university, I had a pratical course n it carried 3units-----i did all d practicals,I read like mad for d exam jux to get dt 3units, was neva absent n everything d lecturers said (they wia 2) we shuld do I did, bt lo n behold d result came out n I had an E------u cn imagine hw I felt. I went to d head lecturer of d course n he too was surprised dt I scored so low n he jux encouraged me b/c dia was nuthn he culd do. Bt u kw wat? Dt result didn't stp me frm coming out of sch wt a very good result, yes I was depressed for a wk n weneva I rem d result I felt bad bt I pressed on n God remembered me. So pls if u didn't pass ds yrs jamb dnt give up, keep pressing n u ll see God wrk for u-----hpe ds helps.
