i'm a Christian and I think this is a welcome development. Enough of all these mushroom churches and pastors springing up every minute and giving Christianity a bad name.
These days when I see the word 'pastor' on fp, my heart skips cos I know what's coming next. I don't know whether pastors are becoming rapists or rapists are becoming pastors.

The difference between you & the atheist is you agree there is God, nothing close to being a christian

So Jehovah's witnesses who don't make noise with speakers in dia places of worship and who don't force anyone to listen to them will also need a license before they can go about dia peaceful house to house preaching too?

This law is trying to profer solutions to religious noise making while creating more problems and many gray areas. This is absurd!!

When a sane man talks, his words irritate insanity!!!

In a country where religious radicalism has its roots in places of worship. And by the time people hear sermons in their worship centers they come out to tell us that Western Education is bad. They tell us that it was a plane that brought down their structures killing innocent people whereas, they are the ones who contravened the building plan and used substandard materials.

Politicians are playing their games and the religious leaders are telling us about who wants to Christianise or Islamise us, causing wars, killings everywhere. A region leader said he will not submit himself to the lawful authority, another one said he will open the gate of hell on those who voted against his choice!!!

One will tell you that if you can kill for the Merciful God and die in the process,you will make heaven

N2.5b for spiritual purposes, missionary jets laundering money in South Africa......yet they both preach that "Salvation is free...it was received free and will be given free...".....if you now want to charge nko?

We have more worship centers now than the population of some countries. ....Yet the crime in the country has no rival!!! Someone said if not for the religious people, crime would have been worse. ...

LOL.....Take 10 criminals in Nigeria today, all of them will be practising the middle east hate religions. No other religion apart from the middle east ones have been troubling the country. Mention any criminal or looter you know, he must belong to one of the two.

No other religion is in power or has been in power in Nigeria before. The President, his Vice, 36 governors and 36 deputies. All the lawmakers in the states and federal. Ministers and Commissioners, Chairmen of LGs etc, Police and Civil Servants and so on....all have their pastors and imams!!! They go to mosques and churches. But what is the result

Corruption, terrorism, kidnapping, hate....ungodliness.

I hereby declare my full support 100% to the Thinking Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai on the need to Censor the utterances of these religionists. We must thank him for this brilliant initiative aimed at nipping terror and criminality in the bud. Every well meaning Nigerias must rise and support this man. We must join him in saving the lives of the people who enter their worship houses with love but come out with hatred for their neighbours.

I believe that we can stop terrorism by censoring radical preachers and cub corruption by censoring prosperity messengers.

God is not an author of confusion.

I stand with El Rufai.

Nobody is right or wrong when it comes to religion: everybody has the right to believe or not to disbelieve. Afterall, Christians have many denominations, doctrines, uses the same bible and everyone chooses to believe in what he or she wants.

Some Christians are like house-flies leeching off a glass of beer. They don't know what time it is until they drown in it. How can you be much of a dunce supporting a systematic persecution if your core religious values.

Ye blind f.cks can remain ignorant all you want thinking Islam is you friend when even the Qur'an explicitly stated that a Muslim shouldn't take a Jew or Christian as friend. No wonder my people historically has always been toast in the hands of the mohammedians. Lebanon, Constantinople (Turkey), Syria, Egypt, Assyrian, Christians in the northeast. Go and check their population in these regions in the past and what we have now.

Oh yeah, El rufai is helping you eliminate fake pastors indeed. Smh

The writer of the article is prejudiced as should be expected of a member of this backward society. The bill didn't envision a car and all that needs done is to ammend that part so that you have a right to listen to whatever nonsense you like in your car, as long as you don't contaminate the airwaves of everybody with it. The people who are being oppressed every day, day and night in Nigeria by religious preachers are also human beings too, entitled to live a full and free life devoid of the poison of religion. But of course religious people can not imagine anyone has any rights apart from them. Nigeria is a joke!

99% Nigerian Christians have no idea there's a schism within Islam and has been for over 1000 years. Nigerian Christians do no know that Muslims have killed more Muslims than they have Christians throughout history. How can they know? Religion discourages you from finding things out by yourself
