@op don't make it to be a quarrel, when the both of you are discussing and laughing, just use idea to ask him that "hor*y why do you like saving this picture on your phone"? Then you will tell him that you don't like the way this particular girl pictures is so much on his phone. It is not all the time that conflict will resolve an issue, calmness pays.

Talk to him about it. And make him see reasons why it's bad for him to do so.
And stop going through his phone. It's like you're looking for reasons to jeopardize your marriage, and on purpose too.

Edit the number of his ex to another of your number or but a new number. Then change use his ex as the profile picture.
This way, all chats come to you henceforth.

My dear, he is only passing through a phase. That phase where we think it would've worked perfectly with the other girl but at the back of our funny minds we love our family.
