You are okay with you age but if it's 28 and the person never attended Poly for ND then age can be a barrier

Word!!!!
As a first timer just save yourself the stress and fear of the unknown. I remember when I was to enter through IAH in houston TX, the only food I had on me was Garri and alot of Agbo Jedi and Opa Eyin. When I was asked what food I had with me, I told them garri and herb, nobody was even willing to check my bag. They almost push me away to go go lol. There is no naija food that am not getting here down to Pap (Akamu) and so on.

I remember I had a family friend came for holiday last December and I was to pick them from the airport. They came with all kinds of food, their chicken indomie and Maggi was trashed and when the kids saw me, they almost burst into tears because of noodles, I had to drive them from the airport to an African store to get them Indomie before they were happy again.

Bottom Point is just save yourself the stress and bring only what's necessary and not what you want/think u might need. God gat your back in Obamaland so food is not a problem.

Thanks
Do you also get Agbo jedi and Opa eyin in ObamaLand

I flew in through JFK, mine wasn't seized, but for the egwusi, ogbono, crayfish. Naija pepper, I will advice you to get them dried probably grinded before you come, and try to declare the items.

Thanks so much for the explanation.

When we came back to US in Dec, we weren't well informed. We took delta airline that had to first stop at Atlanta. We made mistake of not grinding the melon seed and was seized. They told us we should have grind it. Dried and ground seeds enter. Poultry produce including maggi chicken are not allowed. We have crayfish in another bag, which they didn't check/seize, so we don't know if it was skipped by chance or not. The ground pepper and ogbono were checked and passed. The Nigerian inspector at Atlanta's agric screening gave us a paper that contains info on this website: https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/home The guy said if you have herbs, it must be soaked in alcohol or water before they can allow it in. But by then I have already given up on delta airline. We were later told that the restrictions at NY airports is not as tough as that in Atlanta.

Thanks so much for the explanation...you always the boss...I remove my cap salute u sir

Guys, please help vet this email. These professors keep saying they've got no funding for me, but from my findings, many of the have grants worth more than 200,000 dollars. I've tried all the scopes in my head, but none has worked so far. Cc BigFrancis21, imperiouxx.

Dear Dr. xxxx xxxx,

Good day. How are you doing today? Great I hope.

I sent you a mail earlier, but I have yet to receive a response. Incase you didn't or haven't read it, I'm a prospective Environmental Engineering graduate student of xxxx University. I have a background in Civil Engineering from a federal university here in Nigeria, with keen interest and focus on Environmental Engineering.

While I observed undergraduate study, I conducted a research investigating how the inadequacy of water supply affected the sanitation practices, hygiene, and health of the people of a rural community here in Nigeria. Experience garnered from this research opened my mind to the possibility of creating and utilising advanced treatment technologies in wastewater purification, to improve water supply and reuse.

The conception of Reverse Osmosis (RO) seem to be an excellent step in the right direction; however, some studies have shown that lower molecular weight organics like Nitrosodimethlyamine can permeate through the current film of composite membranes. It is therefore of essence to create modelling techniques to evaluate compounds detrimental to domestic water, and predict RO removal efficency.

Given your interest in the area of advanced treatment technologies for water purification, xxxx University is the perfect university to further my research in this direction. If it's okay by you, I would love to be in correspondence with you, and be a under your guidance on resumption. I would love to know if you will be accepting new graduate students for fall 2016.

Thank you for your time, and anticipated prompt response.

My pple, since I did not have enough cash (2.1m) naira. Can I apply to community school and ask Bridgeport to transfer my credit.. My fear is I don't want to run out of status.

Hello Please did you submit any test of English to get the Bridgeport admission?

Did you send your documents via email or you sent to through courrier?

On your 2.1M see most VO don't check bank statement infact if there are good flows of cash in and out of the account then you may be granted your visa.

Go to the embassy get visa with bridgeport F120 and then transfer to community college after getting visa.

Hope that helps !
