hello everyone. i want my mum to come along with me to assist with the baby.
her passport has south africa visa which she did not use during the ebola period and has now expired
her sister in the US wants to give her an invitation letter stating that she would ensure she comes back with me
please does anyone have an idea on what her chances are and also advice on how the application should be packaged.
she is a business woman, my hubby or I would stand as the sponsor.
your advice would be highly appreciated.

Is the invitation letter even neccessary? My mum only went with my details and told them she's going to asist me. She was asked which city and how long she'll be staying, what's her daughters name and wia does she work, wia does her daughter work, that's all!

Help. Missionary journey tonight and m at stanbic ibtc. No pta sales today. What can u do? I have just 1000 dollar at hand. Somebody help!

Information reaching us that stanbic has issue with PTA.
And now they av requested ppl should reapply and remember it takes 2weeks, meaning till 11th of April b4 anyone can get PTA. Maybe they want to use this time to sort themselves out. Don't know how far it's true o, but got the info from someone who was there today and suppose to travel on 6th April.

I n my family have applied for a B1/B2 visa 2wks ago n was granted d visa,my hubby went to collect d visas after d 3working days we were asked to come n collect it but it was only his own dat was ready and up till nw mine n d kids has still nt come out,pls is such delay normal?
If your visa was approved and there is a delay in printing visa all u need to do is have patience.
If peraventure they are conducting administrative processing and you were honest in the interview then just wait. After a week, u can send an email or call the embassy

Thank God for safe journey all through. Must you have an account with SCBN first to qualify for this purpose?

please house quick response required.

For those that bought PTA from Standard Chartered and Fidelity, do you have to have an account with them?

I am ready to start my quarter 2 PTA hustle and I want to be focused, Stanbic is looking saturated...

My people

I want my mum to come along with me to assist with the baby.

She has never travelled before, traveling mid May, we got our visa for vac purpose and used it last year. Already did the notification of intent thing and got the usual response.

Now my question is, if I have to give her my gathered traveling docs so far :visa page and data page...I hope my visa and da of hubby and son won't be cancelled?

Scared to my bones and is it worth it?

What are her chances too?

Due in June by his grace, can she leave Naija early June, can I pick a date in Last week in May for her interview as we are already in by then?

NB: I have also paid the hospital already.

Yes dear I think it's normal, don't know why but hubby passport came out first and the next day mine came out the next day. But 2 wks ago I think is pretty long. Maybe u should place a call. Mine was abuja and the DHL pple tried tracking it's progress and told me to come back next day.

Hello NL, Please anybody with VBAC experience in the US? I would appreciate if you can share information on the hospital used and the details of the cost. Thanks to all the people that have contributed in making this forum as informative as possible, God will continue to bless us all.

You can search for olokings,i think one of his posts addressed VBAC.

I was at stanbic ibtc today and we were only informed that pta was not available. No one said we should reapply or that stanbic has issues. They only said no pta for today. There may be tomorrow.

I don't know if there's a particular person you're referring to or a personal experience but generalising, you do know a lot of people have been birthing in the US long before this thread was created and some are still birthing without knowing of the existence of this thread. So not everyone who has gone to give birth in the US came to Nairaland.
