I lean towards believing that too. She is misusing the power of social media and the gullible followers. She could do well to tell the truth backed with evidence.
The sequence of events as she posted actually suggest plenty sugarcoating of the story.

Do you know why things are bad in Nigeria? Because everyone gets away who doing whatever they want and people will rush and defend them. Until it happens to them and they realise that by silencing the others, their injustice was also silenced.

She says she had witnesses. She addressed the Dean and HOD. She went to NHRC to lodge a complaint. Does that sound like the behaviour of someone making up stuff? Everything she says is verifiable, all you need do is to verify it. Instead you are here saying "she made it up, she jacked his collar, it is female against male".

She knows her rights and has the willpower and some clout to start this fight. You defending the man and attacking her, will sit dumbly and be smiling like he-goats when police, soldiers or anyone with some level of authority is dealing with you and we all ignore.

am telling you. No way would everybody support him no matter the caucus he belongs. Students are good at the victim card. You would catch one with micro chips and afterwards hear the same student telling everybody you victimised him or her by sending them out of the hall.
Well it's a federal university, if she fails in the case, the university senate reserves the right to withdraw her certificate as she wasn't found worthy in character and learning

I also had a similar experience in school, my phone was smashed by a lecturer who just wanted to show me he had the power to do anything. I was gisting with a girl earlier on that morning and he saw me. I didn't know she had something going on with the dude. I was writing my finals then and I didn't want any issues. It is difficult to believe the whole story. How will every top person in the university not reason with her? But then, nothing can justify a lecturer flogging a student. Never heard of it.

It happens during my ND days @ the polytechnic ibadan when a senior lecturer (Mr.Akanji ) slapped a female student inside examination hall and it generated to serious issue to the extent that that lady informed her boy friend and they immediately tortured that lecture tore his shirt and decided to take him away until when campus security men intervene.

If you believe a lecturer will just take out belt and start FLOGGING a female student, and there will be no one in the university to back her up, then I am sorry, you are messed up.
Flogging a female in broad daylight will trigger plenty emotional responses that will be enough to nail the lecturer. The lecturer did no wrong in preventing her from returning to the exam hall in the first instance. She was under exam conditions and should have sort permission before going to carry table.
There are many bad lecturers, but Kemi has not shown any proofs to paint Mr Olorunfemi black.

In my own case, the Dude started bothering me in my first year, i got home, told my mum and she thought it wise to buy me an engagement ring, hoping it would scare the man aware.

The man left me after i told himj i was engaged, in my 4th year, during our project defense, the guy simply told me i wasn't going to defend my project and that was it o, (He was HOD at that time).

I cry tire, beg tire, my colleages begged, he didn't even bulge.

Well it was an extra year that was worth it, i learned a skill during that time.

I submitted the project to the department that same week and it was logged for the next year's defense.

why did you drop the case? why? if you have started something, I think you should finish it. please send me his email if you have it. I must send that idiot a stinker.. you are not alone. one lecturer told me I had failed his Course and then asked for my name. I sensed something and refused to give him my name. later he came asking for money to help me pass use of English. I told him point blank that since I was born in have never failed English and can't fail his course. at the end my answer script in his possession went missing and he claimed I never sat for the course. I had to carry it over and eventually passed through another lecturer.

mr femi if this case is true,you're disgrace to the other femi's and i advice you beg for forgiveness, because God will ask you very soon.

Nice move dear. On my on personal opinion I suggest you change school an start afresh while treat the case you have with the man. *my personal opinion*

Trully, unfair treatment requires an unfair reaction if we know where we belong to, some sick lecturer wouldnt toil with ones destiny. How i wish i know all this then.
