My observation also made me know that their quest for a female child was the reason they had more males. The other day I made a post about a neighbour that is facing the threat of her husband bringing a second wife because she has no female child yet. So everything depends on the shades of your own world, different area, different observations.

As unbelievable as it sounds,it is true. I have mentioned it in a thread before now. People see from different angles, for some male kids only doesn't cut it. A man also mentioned on the thread that he will be happier with a female kids that all male kids. Another lady stated that she will be happier with 3 daughters and a son, this I have heard before from a friend. Different people, different preferences, you can't use yourself as a yardstick to judge majority.

That said, I do understand OP's view and yeah Iv seen that women these days are the fair majority in some institutions. We are taking education and career more seriously these days than our male counterpart so I can see where the OP is heading to. You will get employment before most boys in your class!! Even in IT, we pick female students in my firm more than males.

Most modern men are placing more emphasis on looks and clothes than in skills. Check romance section, the caliphate of dummies for instance.

Both female spongers and gold-diggers aren't on the decrease either. The upper class is the exclusive preserve of male at the moment.
