Most Naija music artists no Sabi sing from time immemorial.. no sensible contents. It's either they talk about money, girls or highness. They use lots of vulgar words. If girls don't shake their sagged and dirty asses in their videos, the video won't sell. Only God knows the kind of example and legacy they re setting up ... for instance, DONT DULL by olamide has no meaning. GBESE by Lil kesh follows suit. It's only Adekunle Gold that sings with sense, in their crew. This is why I listen to more of ASA TIMI DAKOLO, COBHAMS, BEZ. They re doing very fantastic.

D Banj can sing. no beefs. but Olamide simply cant. Nigerian music is full of trash. youths are clueless on what music is all about. throw in some good beats and the artist is good to go

If it is lyrics, many of them have poor lyrics only few have good lyrics. If it is good voices it is not necessary to have good or sonorous voice. I think many of them need to get a good voice trainer.
If I should list their names it will be a long list.
That is why I prefer reggae, Fuji and rap not rappers like olamide or Lil kesh.

Gbam! I don dey talk am since say some Nigerians no sabi sing at all. D'banj number one.

wizkid is a better singer than many many many Nigerian musicians. Your not a fan doesn't mean you should hate

Vocally only a few of dem eg (largely female) r ok (suprisingly olamide is quite good vocally). Their performance @ shows r usually just exaggerated versions of karaoke & "lip sync battles". It goes 2 $hit if d DJ or sound crew messes up unlyk foreign acts (a prime example is adele's performance @ d 2016 grammys; even wt sound problems, her vocals were clearly distinguishable & as usual out of dis world). Then their lyrics... highly super hyper F. U. C. K. E. D. I can count d number of 9ja songs wt nyc lyrics i've heard dis yr on 1 hand. Have u noticed dt on music channels lyk MTV base, sound city, trace etc, dey hardly play 9ja songs on segments lyk baseline, lyrics 2 go, lyricist's lounge etc (where dey write d lyrics of songs so dt viewers can sing along)? When dey do eventually play a 9ja song & i read d lyrics, i feel ashamed. Na so so "eh eh eh", "ah ah ah" & "yea yea yea" go constitute half of d song. Remove Pasuma from it. Fuji music is totally different from all this yeye music that olamide and co sings. They have good lyrics and perform well on stage with their bands.
