You'll apply for a student visa without the correct letter? My advice is to please be patient. Don't take chances. Whatever is needed, please wait to receive it and apply. They might return your documents if they don't find the correct letter attached to it.

All the best.
Conditional offer letter is a correct letter. Many nairalanders have gotten trv with conditional letter. It will fly if he can include evidence of meeting those conditions like the mail they sent to him about gotten d transcript. All the best to all the trv hopefuls.
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by DanIndia(m): 10:42am On Apr 14, 2016
I'm not sure you read the OP's initial comment. They had a letter that was conditional. OP plans to still submit the conditional even after fulfilling the conditions but will submit it with their app ONLY if the unconditional doesn't arrive in time. My advice, again, would be to wait and submit with the unconditional letter. The VO officer would probably take them more serious when they find out the letter is unconditional rather than having to spend time verifying if the conditions are met which will end up wasting both the officer's time as well as the applicant. This causes delay.

January 2017 ? I think it's a bit early. The officers are only evaluating May intakes now and not for fall. Either ways, you can submit but I believe the processing won't start until about months after.

All the best.

This your comment get as e be. Both Paper and Online applicants are treated the same. Some people who have applied via the paper route around the same timeframe as yours haven't heard back too. Be patient, my brother. It will turn out well.

And going to Ghana with your lawyer, do you think that will help ? Why don't you submit a Case Specific Enquiry ?
bigyemi2000:
Warning: Please do not apply via online route...have applied since February 18th and am resuming May 9th and I haven't heard anything from them..Those that submitted via Paper route in March have been called for medical...I am going to Ghana today with my lawyer..I don't understand the delay..

Nothing good comes easy. But, the PGWP is far most the easiest permit to get so far. You can even work legally while studying and once done, apply for a post graduate work permit which can be given for 8 months - 3 years. The PGWP depends on whatever course you studied tho. If it's a 2 year course, you can sit back and hang in there for a 3 year PGWP.

I don't think any of the two methods is faster than the other but I strongly recommend the paper route. The online can be a hassle for a less techy person. Online payments, having to merge files to submit because there is no additional field to upload your files to. But the paper route, you can add whatever you want to; pictures, extra certs etc - all you gotta do on the checklist is just check the additional documents box and you're good to go.

Hi Guys

been great following the tread..presently have admission to SAIT, a post grad cert in database administration and i graduated like 9 years ago, though been working as a network administrator since. for my trv, do i stand a better chance if i use a sponsor( not closely related) or i do self sponsor myself.

someone said because of my age, the VO might think i wont return if i do self sponsor?how true is this? though i know rate of decline is high now.

will appreciate if anybody can assist in clarifying.

thanks

Hello All,

Its been a while I posted on this thread and I can see its really booming. Thanks to all the seniors in the house and everyone too. Please I have a question. My husband has an admission from UofS. We are currently gathering docs to apply for his TRV. its a masters program for one year as confirmed by the school, but its written minimum two years on one of the forms that came with his admission letter. I am just wondering when he is successful with the TRV by Gods grace, can anyone say how long his study permit would be?

1. Are you married?
2. Can you be given leave in your present place of work?
3. If you are capable you can sponsor yourself, if not get a co sponsor with you, with 9years of working the VO also will think you should have some funds
My tot though...
VOs always think everybody will not come back what you need is to know the reasons the refuse Visa and try your best to tackle them and leave the rest to God's hand, period. grin grin grin

Nope age means nothing.
Just construct a very good SOP stating what you have been doing since you graduate!

Likewise show proof of what you have been doing if is business submit CAC docs,if you employed introduction letter, payslips, etc would be a perfect docs.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

Also I read that all Nigerians must give their biometrics and the service is only available in Abuja. Is it really compulsory to travel that far?
