wow wow wow. I have to travel al the way down lagos for this? Bro i am somewhere in the north o. Please are there other ways to get it done? Thanks
lafencer:

you can go to their Abuja office. Uba Area 8 branch and get it sorted

Just so that you don't embark on this journey is the reason I'm responding to your post. It is most likely the registrars don't know what your signature looks like (#signaturespecimen) except you have been filling documents that capture your signature (#transferforms) when you place your mandates (buy/sell authorization) with your broker.
It is either you get a banker's confirmation of signature addressed to the registrar concerned (make this request with your banker). The cost will probably be the transport fare for the journey proposed.

Alternatively you get your broker to process transfer forms on your behalf (the cost implication here is the wait-time).

Thereafter, you process e-dividend and make a request for all outstanding dividends with the registrar.

NOTE: These issues have been exhaustively discussed in previous pages. Kindly do some research of your own by just using a search engine. It is the least expected of anyone that has access to the internet.

And some of the prices don't seem to update at all; for instance take a look at UCAP which marketwatch still calls UBCAP. The Friday closing price was N1.53 not N1.30

Please is this whole process repeated if one buys additional shares to the one he had previously?

Is it Morgan fault that there is no light and fuel to enable them run their business effectively? Or is morgan the minister of power that said "generating 24hrs electircity a day is not rocket sceience"? You vote for change aka chains so stop complaining and enjoy it while it lasts...This is just the beginning. Very soon, when market crash and you can't sell, you will all join to wail.

No, it is not BUT in the case of additional companies you might need to do a mail and probably a followup call so that additional stocks (with same Registrar) enjoy the facility. You can find out more info from the Registars.
