Anyways, other mamas have recommended very potent drugs. But if money nor dey to buy condom maybe money no go reach for pregnacare. Just buy folic acid, its 1naira per tablet. She should take one everyday and that would help solve the problem.

Abeg how can someone stay for 9months without relaxing your hair? The rate at which hair grows in pregnancy even increases. If you don't relax your hair, its either you want to go #teamnatural or you want the hair to shed completely. The pain alone of combing it is terrible. I think its not harmful as long as you use the "No Lye" relaxers, don't allow it stay too long on your hair, and wash the hair thoroughly to avoid leaving any residue of the relaxer on your hair.

It all depend on which relaxer one is using, no lye is better than those with lye! Relaxer can be absorb through the pores and into the blood stream so also is hair dyes!

Its best to wait till 3rd trimester when your babys organs has formed to use such harsh chemicals. I did retouch my hair but I used the kits with no lye! Even at that I didn't sit for long, I am a hair dye addict but I waited till my 8th month before I could dye my hair.

Was speechless reading your Sisters story, am really really happy for her. That man was actually a symbol of hell on earth. I wish her speedy recovery and a wonderful and fulfilling fresh start.

Take ferrus 1tab, 3times daily and folic acid 1tab, once daily, you Will get a good result.

To all mamas who responded. Yes I was very harsh but haba Na, make Una check am. There is no one here with the burden to answer anybody's question. For ur question to be answered is a privilege NOT A RIGHT! I REPEAT IT IS NOT A RIGHT!!!
I have also asked questions and I don't get answers and I move on. Infact if I should be Na Nurse Kaffy I go vex for pass because I do CC sometimes but I understand very well that she is busy, she is a nurse her work is tasking, she is also a mother and someone's wife. I'm not the only person that needs her attention. So are some mamas here. Some might even know the answer but no time to really type. When there is time they might have forgotten or the thread has moved on.

Lately the thread has been full of gists and all that. So most probably mamas were carried away with the gist and all.

The last time she did this I explained in details to her not to be angry that there's no favouritism here. Yet she is still angry. Check my posts, sometimes I will quote my questions and ask again. Sometimes the mamas I mentioned sef will say they really don't have an answer.

For me, it's close to 1year that I last retouched my hair. I no be team Natural o Just got tired of chemicals and wanted a healthier hair, then pregnancy set in, I kukuma let go. I deep condition, protein treat and put all the orisirisi before making my hair.

Pros : My hair has never felt this yummy, healthy and beautiful. My Full edges are back!

I was on weaves with my natural hair throughout my pregnancy period m I couldn't comb my hair without it hurting me like mad! after almost three months of giving birth the hair is still painful when combing. I can't even fix my with hair extensions. in fact, i haven't combed my hair for 5days now due to pains. I am thinking of cutting it sef.

Hmmm! Mamas am back from the hospital, it hasn't be funny today at all. I woke up with little or no blood got ready and head to mcc Igbaja, mehn govt hospital is something else after moving from one place to another na so them begin find my file (file that was only opened pass 9am). Directing me to diff post and offices to look for my file even when i told them i was bleeding. After sometime i noticed i was been stressed cos my body was dripping. Went to use their loo only to notice my pad with plenting bleeding had to quickly rush back to dh we head to my private clinic. Getting there my gyne rush for scan, pregnancy is till there but lo is dating 6weeks instead of 9.3weeks he couldn't find a heart beat. He said to continue on cyclogest and return for scan in the next one week. I asked God on my last birthday to give me a baby in my next bday when i will be 33yrs and he answered me. Now i don't want to believe he is not going to complete what he started. He can not bring me this far to leave me. I refuse to believe that.

I so much regret for not telling you this earlier.
DO NOT STOP PROGESTERONE IN YOUR FIRST TRIMESTER. You must use it till 13weeks, then you stop gradually, not suddenly (cold turkey).

Pls let this serve as a note to every mama out there. Stopping any form of progesterone (cyclogest, duphaston, primolute, etc) at the first trimester is calling for miscarriage. That's not our lot in Jesus name.

Have you ever thought or ask why Drs use this drug to bring on periods? So pls let's be cautious. Ask questions. Do your research. Sometimes doctors make mistakes too.

Most especially pray, pray and keep praying.

Yes, shrinkage is real, especially after washing and all. I am not working towards a lengthy hair per se (even though that's my sub goal) I have suffer a massive hair breakage is why I ventured into the Transitioning journey.
Mega growth has been a life saver. Breakage is a thing of the past now. Sheabutter is all I apply after protein deep conditioning.
For combing, I don't pack my hair in bun until I am ready to make it.(So if I wash today, I part into sections, I'd make the hair the following day). So far, combing has never been a problem.
For texurizing, I'd be using just for me as it's a complete no-lye system.

Adorablewifey, it is well with you. You shall not cast your young. Please start strict bed rest, ask your doctor if you can take gestone injections to compliment the progesterone you're on.
Speak life to your baby.
November train doesn't stop for anybody till we get to our final destination and that is settled in Jesus name.
