I don't think one is faster than the other, tbh. Those Visa Officers sometimes are unpredictable. I would advise you go via the paper route.
Africar:
Which application process is faster? Paper or online? Any idea

Apply with whichever is convenient for you. I personally recommend the paper route though but I don't find it feasible if you have plans of traveling outside the country in the next 2-3 months.

Hi Gurus in the house,

My wife and I intend applying for a canadian visit visa for the purpose of tourism.

We recently travelled to the UK together last summer. This was her first trip outside the country.

I am also a frequent traveller and have been the USA, UK, Dubai and Mauritius on several occassions mainly for tourism.

Please advse on how we should go about our application... via online or paper route?

is it possible for us to apply as a family (especially online) or the applications are treated individually?

Thanks.

cc justwise, other gurus in the house

Thanks Dan,

However, Online, it says i can only apply individually or am i doing it wrong?

I am sorry I don't get you. You mean you're trying to apply for yours and your wife's ?
I'm not sure how that would go. I'm only familiar with the SOWP application thingy for Spouse which is totally different from your case as you're applying for a tourist visa. How about you check with VFS about this? You could call them and they could tell you the procedure for applying as a couple for the paper route and you could then use that info to apply online. Keep in mind that they know nothing about online applications.

Like, are you for real? You canceled your flight just because of what you read on this thread?
I hope you now understand that a lot of things that go on here are just speculations/opinions and doesn't necessarily hold true.
Each day, hundreds of people fly with EgyptAir. I do not have experience with them and I don't think it's proper to associate such risks that I've seen listed with low ticket fares.

that was what I was considering too and apart from that, it my first experience so I tried as much as possible to prevent 'stories that touch', but it later appears to me that some of the things posted here are just speculations (as you've said), because even the POE stuff that appears here on this thread to be frantic was as easy as eating Bread with Beans.. Lol

Time frame for refund depends on the refund policy of the school. Try read up the refund policy of the school. Most schools do 4 to 5 weeks after they get your banking details.

Of course I have read the refund policy of the school. It says 30 days, it's past that and I'm still being asked to wait. I want to hear from someone who has had their tuition deposit refunded.

Good job you guys are doing here. God bless you all.

I need help urgently as i am about to submit an application for study permit. I gained admission to a college in Ontario for a diploma program that would last 8 months starting from September 5th, 2016. I am 28 yrs old, i have a wife and a daughter here in Nigeria. i rounded up my masters in April, 2016 and awaiting clearance. I have 2 jobs, one a full time and the other is a part time. Now,the company where i work part time are one of my sponsors, they will present letter of sponsorship, company statement of account, etc but i do not have a company salary account from them as they mostly pay me in cash and not regularly. I can only get payslip, letter of employment and ID card...Meanwhile, the company i work full time for are not my sponsor and are not even aware of my plans but i have a salary account, letter of employment and confirmation, ID card, etc.

My question now is, should i present the documents that i can gather from the 2 companies or present only from the sponsoring company even though it is a part time job?

Pls help urgently. Thanks.

is 8 months post graduate diploma not too short to secure a visa
