You see some of the little things we take for granted might come back to cause an upset for us.Who would have thought that the V.O will be asking about Mitosis and Meiosis.

Not knowing either of these questions would have been a total disaster at least for someone who claims to have a Bsc. Degree in Biochemistry

It is not enough to have gone through past interview questions alone and assume that all is well.One must be able to say something related to his/her course of study.

vo: alright. you will need this to pick up your visa. here is your i-20 and documents.
Me: Ok. Thanks

VO: From your i-20 (searched for the commencement date for about 5 seconds), you will not be permitted to enter the states before August since the start date is august 29.

@dimejidude, I totally agree with you on that one. I must confess that I stuttered through my answers. The question took away the confidence that was building up in me as soon as it was asked . (lol).

We must be intentional about the little details but there are times when those little details just elude us in a strange way.

I was glad he didn't allow me continue on the meiosis defn (I would have blown it...lol)... I wonder if VO knew the actual thing sef. Lol

Am sure (s)he knew mitosis and meiosis because there is a guy who dropped his transcript few weeks or months ago that the VO asked him about simple question in mathematics that is about mathematics rule or formular and I think the guy also going for PhD as well..

That seems to be the OT this days, the VO also asked me 'what is financial economics' . abeg if you are going to embassy you better be grounded in your field or have a general idea.

I will tell a simple story that happened at Abj like 3 years ago, a younger cousin went for an interview, the VO was impressed about his quantitative SAT score of 780, he was about to issue the Visa but on second thought the guy asked for the guys WAEC certificate, he had an F in Mathematics, the guy asked him how can you get 780 in Qtv and get an F in WAEC. The man wrote a polynomial on a shit of paper and asked him to solve it, he couldn't, he was flagged for fake docs because he went there on 2 subsequent occasions and was denied, he later confessed to using a 'miracle centre' . I learnt 2 lessons 1. Vo's are not idiots 2. If you must lie you better be good at it but ultimately it pays to be truthful

pls who knows about university of missouri, kansas city.howbdo VOs treat I-20 from this school.i want honest info about the school....someone help pls.
i have also been searching for schools with undergraduate fee in the region of 6-8k tuition and fee that do not require either TOEFL or SAT.this search is for BS in enhineering.

NB: will be writting both SAT and TOEFL soon.pls urgent.response will be appreciated.thanks.
