With reference to the bold statements, who told u uk masters for one year adds no value? How abt people who have spent decades in US and still haven't added any single value to themselves? And who told you people havent succeeded even after going to the US? And who also told you the US won't one day adopt policies like that of UK thereby asking International students to leave immediately after their studies? And is it that someone cant have an opportunity of continuing his or her studies in the US even after getting a UK education? And the last time i checked, many have posted their transcripts here and stated to the VO that they had Masters degree in the UK. My dear, people have difference plans for themselves. If others went to the UK and failed, thats not my plan. There are loads and loads of people who have been to the US and have also failed woefully. Success is not built on schooling in the US. Afterall people have succeeded in life and are doing well from schooling in Finland, New zealand, canada, and a couple of other countries.
Abeg make my matter no come bring issue. I made far reaching consultations before i took my decision and a couple of guys here know the angle am coming from and why i had to tk that decision.
Yeah u schooled in the US and your now working in the UK, how come u didnt remain in the US... why leave US to work in the UK where to you its not the best.
Spending money? The fact that UK Masters is one year while that of US is two years are two different things. How much do u spend in US ur tuition, accomodation, maintenance for Two years. Calculate and tell me.. Then calculate that of UK for 1yr and tell me. People have their plans. Another person can possibly come here and lambast US education and ask u why u didnt go to Canada.
Make adequate use of the opportunity u have not minding where u school abeg.
You're so angry. grin Please don't be. Life is a mixture of failure and success. My aunty who studied in the UK has nothing to show for it except her documents and English. She had to bundle in my grandmom to the UK to off-set her bills. Now she wants to leave the UK to the United States for PhD. I'm really sorry to say this. But the UK is over-rated. Yours might be different though.

But then if you really want to know how bumpy a road is, ask those coming back. Some people on Nairaland left United Kingdom to US.

When you say process, is it courier delivering to you or before the school sends it for shipment? It takes less than a week to print out I-20. Did you use eshipglobal (takes 3-5 days) or regular mail (3weeks till forever)?
Tods:
Ejo o nitori olorun, how long does it take a school to process form i20. Someone is getting fed up here.

It's so sad that we had to repeat saying the same thing over and over again to some annoying selfish individuals.

Pls tell us what difference does it make if you can tell us your personal stuffs like who is sponsoring you and why he's sponsoring and some little intimate details about you, my brother/sister why can't you now tell us something that is not as intimate as that?

Pls is the school or course you are going for your family secret business that no one should know about?

I ponder over this issue everytime it comes up and some fish head individuals will come up with some hate statement saying someone is hating? Abeg what's d hate here when you yourself initiated the negativity towards yourself?

I have been on this thread since the beginning of part 3 and if everyone has been doing this am sure we won't even make it to part 5. All you " sare wa gba " that we won't even see here again once u enter yankee cannot just do one thing that others can appreciate when u are no more here. Shioooor for u. Dumb Ass Nigg*s

To be honest having a detailed transcript is necessary. I read sirridy transcript and the guy that had a long ass interview that zeazouhbee commented on. It helped me immensely. I learnt how to retain composure even if the interview is getting long and maybe your veering offcourse, if those two guys who went before me posted ''bla bla and I did I did''. I wouldnt have learnt what I took from their transcripts. remember, visa is just a stamp. Pls fry any thoughts that your visa will be withheld becos you posted ur interview online

Hmm,
I am so sorry that your aunty has nothing to show for the years spent in England. However, I would advise that we leave the dude to go where ever he likes. Life is all about destiny, no matter where you put head. My own single mama wey finish from one school for east, e be like say na ESUT with BSC in i no even know the mediocre course, no be she pay international student tuition for 5 children?

I know a lot of engineers in Canada that are yet to find job after 2 years of graduation and they are currently doing factory job. Some people have graduated and due to the inability to find job they had to relocate back to naija. I have another friend that finished from John Hopkins Univ, JHU na Ivey League abi? After the program, she had to move back to naija because thats where she got a gig. Well, i don't know how people manage in yankee with the one yr OPT and the fact that you have 3 months to get a gig. I know that it takes at least 6 months for a graduate to get a career gig. Well, I guess this forces a lot of people i yankee to marry oyinbo for paper.

That been said, we truly are in no capacity to advise people on their life choices.

No disrespect to anyone smiley

Bro going for Associate degree is like going for another OND in d same course. The best thing you can do is to look for a university that can accept you as a transfer student and send in your OND transcript to them.

I have registered with eship already, its just remaining for me to pay. I was expecting that the school would mail me that my i20 has been issued. I have been sending emails they dint reply. Okay then maybe I would probably just pay for the shipment and see what happens.

Thanks...

I love to use DHL but how can I do that from Nigeria. Will I send empty envelop through DHL or what?

There is a way you can pick it up and get it in Nigeria without using Dhl but Ems or others can help you.

If you have Dhl fee on eshipglobal webpage, you can go for it and if not plan B is okay for you
