You do not need to submit your personal account... but if you think u feel comfortable then it is fine... But make sure you let them know about your past records about your dad sponsoring you and you having a good travel record by not frustrating the immigration rules.... Remember u need to show strong ties in nigeria.... adding your dad passport page will not be a bad idea..... valeroso: |

Booking flight is free .... it is a choice... but it is optional... Tax clearance for me is not a bad idea but it is a choice you have to make.. anikkyshaya: |

Good day and sincere appreciation for the wonderful work you are doing here. Oga Justwice, Frontpagelawyer, and wonderful people. Here is my query please, what should one select on the aspect of this new visa application that ask if one has taken part in (Compulsory National Service). It was NYSC that came to my mind. Please guide me. Also, option of NGN and GBP was given on annual income and other finances section of the form, which one is better? Thank you. |

anikkyshaya: There is nothing like tax clearance if you work for a company, your salary is net. Only business owners submit tax papers. As an employee your salary is taxed already and you don't need tax clearance for visa application. Flight booking is not necessarily but you need to get actual flight cost and outline it in your budget. You can book your flight after getting your visa. |

ancestorial: Your salary is good you should have booked for budget hotel, spending 400k is still within 2 months of your salary which is not bad. |

valeroso: Your daddy can sponsor you if he can afford it but you need more than bank statement from him. You also need to submit your school documents and course details |

zoomzu: Yes NYSC. Select NGN they will convert that to £ using the exchange rate of the day. |

justwise: Thank! Thanks!! Thanks!!! Is very clear to me now. But what about travel insurance sir ? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 7:39am On Jun 04, 2016 |
anikkyshaya: Not a requirement for the UK visa application but you can add it if you want. Any other type of visa..student, spouse or Tie 2 visa type will attract NHS surcharge which is as good as travel insurance but for visiting visa no. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by anikkyshaya: 7:42am On Jun 04, 2016 |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by nairacountry(m): 10:18am On Jun 04, 2016 |
anikkyshaya: You & your sister have ALL necessary DIY info on the docs et al requirements to land her visa, so go for it right away and come back with testimony. By the way, always inquire here about anything before making payments to any vendor. As justwise rightly said, travel insurance cert like TB clearance not a criteria for UK granting visit visa. It pains me seeing the so called travel agents making applicants spend money for unnecessary things! Please don't let them add anything outside all we have enumerated up here to your application. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by nairacountry(m): 10:26am On Jun 04, 2016 |
justwise: Justwise, a pound is now 500/505 as of today in the open market where the guy will surely get his PTA. Therefore the said #72,000 will be £144 by 10days it comes to £14/nite. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by nairacountry(m): 10:36am On Jun 04, 2016 |
ancestorial: Bros sorry for the delay in response. I was meant to type "...reasons for your brother's deportation" not BROTHERS. Possibly the agent this time again did not BOOK any hotel for you because he can NEVER see even Hostel at that price of £145 for 10nites. That could barely pay 3nites bed space in YHA. So beware of the crooked so called agents sir!
