For ur second application did u do medicals again and why were u refused the first time
My first application was refused for the following reasons
1. Insufficient funds to pay for tuition, accommodation and traveling expenses
2. Personal assets
3. Relationship with sponsor(in my first application I didn't put the relationship. Lol).
I didn't do medicals again, I requested for my previous medicals.

hi, just seeing this. What I did was I filled all my form and saved them on my system. I also scanned all financial documents, pasted them on word before compressng to PDF. All the additional documents that were not asked for but I wanted to submit, I added to my LeTter of explanation. So fill forms using internet explorer (not mozilla) and when ready upload each one to the correct heading. I hope this was helpfu

Thanks will try this out

Is it true that if someone has been at home for like 3 years doing nothing he will be denied Study Visa?

VERY IMPORTANT info regarding the Nigerian Passport. We recall that PMB recently sent the CG of NIS to the "coolers" & appointed a new one.

● Babandede the new CG of NIS says he has instructed state commands to decentralize & reissue lost passport & change of names.

**Gone are the days of travelling to Abuja, particularly newly married women who used to travel there for change of names.

● Approval for replacement of lost passports shall henceforth be given by state comptrollers after online vetting and processing of application at the Passport Division in the Service’s headquarters.

● The 64 page e-passport costs N20,000, 32 page costs N15,000 (18-60yrs) while those below 18yrs and above 60 years cost N8, 750.

● The official fees/categories of passports will henceforth be displayed at various passport offices to ensure transparency.

● Nigerians are urged to insist on paying the official fees at the designated passport offices or pay online at the official immigration website to avoid exploitation by touts and agents.

● Additional passport offices to be opened in state commands where the existing passport office is getting overwhelmed with demand to ensure efficient service delivery.
How true is this info?

This is a good one if true however i hope they take serious action to curb exploitation by even immigration officers. Sometimes its not even the touts or agent but the officers themselves. Makes me recall the incident i had back in Calabar even after paying online. I narrated my story here and hope people can learn from that.

Good morning my prospective Canadian neighbours please how do I link a paper application to an online application. A friend that was denied earlier and has submitted his second application tried linking it. But it got linked to the first application because the application number on it was for the old one. I want to link mine too, since I had a refusal in my first application how do I link it and it won't happen like that.

Hope linking doesn't make d processing time longer.

Hello,
Go to www.cic.gc.ca select "immigration and citizenship" from their proceed to "My Application"select "Check your application status"‎,the page takes you to anoda page where you will b asked "What did you apply for" u select "Study permit" from the box and proceed another page where you asked to sign into your online or link your application, from their you sign in with a GCkey(if you already have an online acccount) if nt u will need to open. When linking your application you will b asked to put details such as Date of birth, passport details, UCI number, start date of program and end date. When fill the space it should be noted that you put just your UCI number, date of birth and given names. Since your application is a new one, you don't need to fill any application number in the space while filling it to avoid it been linked with your old application .I hope simple enough.‎

Hello guys, I do not know where to start from. All I can say is Hallelujah to the Most high. My study permit has been approved, I applied March 8, 2016. I don’t know how to start but lemme start somewhere. I tacked my application June 1, 2016. It said processed passpprt has been dispatched from the Canada visa office to the Canada visa office Lagos on the 1st of june. I couldn’t believe it, I was so annoyed and frustrated. I was like the second time again.. I just dropped my phone and continued what I was doing , I started reading
different forums because from the usual I know approval mail comes first. I have been downhearted since. I don’t know what led me to my mail this evening, I checked my updates and I saw the approval mail low and behold. It was sent since MAY 28, 2016. Am so so happy. GOD HAS DONE IT
I don’t know why I didn’t see the notification on my phone. Am so glad that my app has been approved, this is my second application. I also wish others awaiting their applications speedy approvals.
