According to a literature I read, the word fornication in the olden days was used majorly for acts like prostitution, rape, homosexualism, incest and the likes. Fornication became the word used for unmarried partners having sex in the 17th century or so and that was after the bible has been translated. So, the author argues unmarried partners having sex was not condemned in the bible. But Sincerely, the exposure we have now in music, dressing and culture generally, it would only take a person with low libido to abstain from fornication.
