People who cannot solve a simple Quadratic equations, whose country cannot manufacture a radio say they cannot use Chinese phone (which comes with bluetooth, TV/Radio, flashlight, GPS and of course other telephone functionalities).

Yet our country has a satellite which is 100% Chinese!

I am a gadget guy too but I've learnt over time that it doesn't really matter.

Just look at the pics below. See the cheap phones they were using. Check the deskphone (ordinary analogue) not even the Cisco IP or MiTel Phones. They have what it takes to build one of the most expensive phone company in the world yet the choose to go simple.

I'm sure if they were from our generation they'll probably use the best gadgets in the market.

Meanwhile, I met this guy (a rugged Naija carmaker in Ajah yesterday. The construction of the ATV bike-like car attracted me to the guy. I believe he's got the capability to do something out of the box and decided to chat with him. Maybe one day we will build a rotating tv wall and floating decks. This are simple mechanics


Our DIY guys are yet to pull out some extreme designs due to lack of skilled artisans to work with.

Definitely not the most perfect build but it's an effort that's worth mentioning.

My Apple Mac Pro computer costs a shade over $10,000.... but it is a dedicated work Machine! (No Games or any sort of pleasure on it....strictly for work purposes). I am sure some cars dont cost #4Million naira.

I would rather a thief steal my car, than steal my Computer .........because it is everything about me and my work.

So, let us not disparage those who buy what we see as 'gadgets', l am sure they know why they did so.
