met my hubs on social media, we chatted and i deleted him.
few months later we had a video call and he wanted to know
why i was so rude the last time. We gisted and i told him i was
traveling to meet with my supposed to be hubby's family in their
village, he wished me well...he asked how long i had been in a R/ship
with the dude and i said close to 4yrs and he said the dude wasn't
ready for marriage, I was upset and cursed him out for telling me the
obvious. I went ahead with the journey and he kept calling to know how
I was faring, it suddenly dawned on me when i returned home that i may
not be marrying the first guy. My now hubby invited me abroad but i said
no because i felt he would just straff and run, so he asked me when my
next B'day would be. I told him and he said he would marry me on that day
it was a Monday so i disbelieved him. He told me to inform my family but i
was too scared. He came into 9ja on Friday...I was shocked, he proposed to
me and we both knelt down and prayed to God to take control...we got married
two days after. My hubby had been communicating with my mum though...It was
a surprise to my friends,colleagues and extended family who fined hubby some
amount of Naira for taking them unawares...my ex was more in shock too...

I got a delivery guy to delivery both the ring and cake beautifully wrapped together. When they announced her name that some delivery guy have a parcel for her, she was surprised as the guy pretended to be in love with her and came to wish her happy birthday. She reluctantly opened the parcel. The heading of the write up made her shout for joy as she saw HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DESIRE! THANKS FOR THIS 5 YEARS, LET'S DO FOREVER. BE MY WIFE.

In fact, I was called to come take her home as emotions couldn't let her see through her daily task

I was out of the country when my wife and I had agreed to tie the knot and I didn't have plans of coming back any time soon.
She had been asking for an iPad, so I bought her one, at the same time I had bought a ring for her but didn't know how to get it across to her.
Since I wasn't going to be travelling to Nigeria anytime soon, I recorded a series of 3 videos on the iPad leading to a proposal, I then put the ring behind the iPad packaging such that she couldn't see it when she initially opened it.

I sent the iPad through a close friend travelling to Naija (u wouldn't entrust that to a delivery company).

The day she picked up the iPad I told her I had loaded up some tutorial videos for her to watch.
Her friends were all aware and saw her reaction (shame I didn't witness it).
After watching the video she called me all excited agreeing to be my wife.
That was 3 years ago and I guess it was the best I could do without physically being there

Please I Dunno if this is cool buh it's been on ma mind. I'm thinkin of making arrangements with an eatery attendant to make a cake with ''Please Marry me'' written on it with icing sugar a day to mine or her next birthday ... Then would take her there on the day for us to celebrate. Then after placin our orders for food and drinks, at a moment I'll give the attendant a sign to bring the cake to the table. And when I open the cake and she sees what's wriiten on it, I'll kneel down with the ring in my hand and say some sweet words to her and give her the ring. Please how is this idea, hope it's cool?

Girls are not trophies bro. Be an ambitious and a career focused guy and no lady would want to let you go.
