I truly believe in Yoruba common wealth but the so called leaders have gone the Nigeria's way i.e corruption and self centeredness. I so much wish they indeed understood the purpose of the great Legend in the person of late Chief Obafemi awolowo and his expectations. Perhaps we would have been far from the stagnant position we found ourselves today. God bless The YORUBA Race. |

Dipo Famakinwa has left us. Those of us alive should ensure that his, and our collective vision for the Yoruba Nation viz regional autonomy and the eventual excision of Yorubaland from this mere geographic contraption of a country, be achieved Good Night Dipo Omo Famakinwa, Omo Oduduwa tokan tokan. |

MrMaestro:I just cant stop being grateful to God Almighty, for creating me AS YORUBA. Every other thing about Yoruba is always about doing the unthinkable. whatever, is the cause in Yoruba's cell which always inspire us to set a new record is golden to BEHOLD. Once again, another Yoruba man , Demola, the pilot, has done us proud by also flying around the world in a solo effort. God bless him for setting this record. There are more coming. Yoruba Race is BLESSED FOREVER. |

Olu317:I agree. He was a visionary. There are some people who are trying to push us forward though. Ambode is the only one with a passion for Yoruba greatness and greatness now. |
| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Olu317(m): 6:32am On Apr 24, 2017 |
MrMaestro:More people are doing us proud. Although, among the serving governors in Yoruba land, Ambode stands out amongst equal. I expect, more great men with visionary leadership to begin compete for political offices in Yoruba land. |
| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by MrMaestro: 6:37am On Apr 24, 2017 |
I agree. We need to create better leaders that can compete for office. First and foremost though we need to start doubling down on our language in the region. It's eroding in the younger generation. |

| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by Olu317(m): 7:57am On Apr 24, 2017 |
MrMaestro:Yoruba language can't die but will continue to develop. It dies only among the children of some educated Yorubas who placed English language as an outright priority over Yoruba language at the detriment of their children. This is the challenge before all of us that dim it fit to correct this anomaly. However, the lower class and the Middle class earners which comprise the largest population of Yoruba still hold on to our language as it is. It's all about channelling our energy to bringing Yoruba language to the door step of every Yoruba sons and daughters in Yoruba land, either at home or diaspora. |

Please omo Oodua, what are we doing about Oduduwa Republic ? We surely cannot continue in this contraption called Nigeria if we really love ourselves and our generations to come. |
| Re: Yoruba Commonwealth and Politics by MrMaestro: 2:16pm On Apr 24, 2017 |
BermudaTriangle:I believe we can. Ogun receives 70% of foreign direct investment. Osun is developing, Lagos is continuing to develop, and DAWN (Development Agenda for Western Nigeria) is working. We don't have much to complain about. But if Nigeria we to split we'd probably be the biggest beneficiaries. |

MrMaestro:Whatever growth rate we may be experiencing now is nothing compared to what would've been if we had separated. Nigeria union is stunting our growth and has collapsed our educational advantage which free education gave us. We should opt out of this union before it is too late. |
