The protest is not necessary imo, It's not even up to two weeks. What we should be asking how long the bank gave her before the debit is reversed. Banks follow standard procedure The only time I ever got debited without getting the cash, I filled a complaint form and was told that it would be resolved within 10 working days (two weeks in total). It wasn't reversed and I went back in to complain and the issue was escalated. I got my money back the following week. It took Jumia almost two months after countless emails and phonecalls to refund me of 66k despite assuring me that the money will be refunded within five working days. I never took to the streets carrying placards to protest. True, those banks sometimes need to be called out before they do the right thing. Not in this case though, too premature.

I had the same terrible experience with sterling bank today around 12pm although am using access bank atm card.I quicky visited access bank customer care to lodge complain,they urged me to have patience that it(d money) will reverse within 24 hours.

It happened to me. I used Zenith bank ATM card with wema bank ATM machine they debited my account without dispensing any cash since 30 April 2016. As I'm writing this piece they have to reverse my money. Honestly it's painful.

She's so diminutive in stature that I couldn't help wondering if she was a university or actually secondary school student.

Advice: Once they've reversed the money, quickly rush to GTB and open another savings account with that same money.

Eyahhhh. Sowi dear. It happened to me in the year 2007 at skye bank. It took them 2 weeks to refund my money. After then, I stopped banking with them till date

Dnt worry dey will refund ur money but it will take a little time just exercise some little patient. it has happened 2 me I bank with Ecobank but did d transaction with access bank, within a month I got my Alart back after filling a complainant form.so relax
