Nihilist: Same way Napoleon, Moses, etc, and all effective commanders of yore, maintained order and extracted compliance... "You will be shot" In Jon's case, it was mostly self-preservation - at least for the free-folk. |

GuyFawkes: I disagree entirely, if someone killed your parents and were about to kill you but luckily you escaped, and years after you still hear of plots and schemes to kill any living soul that carries your blood, I believe you would be very vindictive. Daenery hates the concept of slaves, recall at Yunkai they offered her gold and sufficient ships for conquering westeros, but she refused, she was bent on freeing the slaves. This shows a lot about her character, her liberation fight. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Gbola5: That's my favorite conversation in the whole series. But Nihilist isn't discussion about power, she's arguing if the girl is mature. |

Genea: And you love cersei so much. weyrey means "mad person". and I thought you're yoruba. We can only decide if someone is dumb or smart base on the repercussion of their actions, if you remember Cersei is the one who brought the high sparrow to power to intimidate her enemies. she acted without weighting the consequences, she acted for only the joy of hurting others. Being good at using violence doesn't make her smart. on the scale of 10 i will rate he 8 below Sandor Clagane and hodor 1 Like |

I love Cerci tho'! |

BraniacX: I concur absolutely to this. Cercei is now the mad queen Jamie would be forced to delete to save the greater good. Once the dragons touch down on westeros, Jamie would be forced to also believe in the myth of white walkers. |

INTERPRETATION OF THE EXCHANGED GLANCES BETWEEN LF AND SANSA AT JON SNOW'S UNEXPECTED CORONATION Now recall when LF made his indecent proposal to Sansa which she demurely declined (like a naija girl doing initial gra gra IMO)? She even stopped his attempt at kissing her for good measure. LF said something, he told her that: "News of this battle (Battle Of The Bastards) will spread quickly through the seven kingdoms. I've declared for House Stark for all to hear." "You've declared for other houses before Lord Baelish, it's never stopped you from serving yourself," Sansa replied. "The past is gone for good, you can sit here mourning its departure or you'll prepare for the future. You, my love, ARE THE FUTURE OF HOUSE STARK. Who should the North rally behind, true born daughter of Ned and Catelyn Stark born here at Winterfell, or a motherless bastard born in the south?" Sansa walks away in righteous indignation without so much as a second glance at LF. But here is what LF did right; HE SOWED A SEED. HE PLANTED AN IDEA IN A MIND THAT IS ONLY BEGINNING TO FIND ITSELF. Sansa was truly happy for Jon Snow when the North declared him as the King In The North, but at that moment she remembered the question LF had asked her as she walked away: "Who should the North rally behind, true born daughter of Ned and Catelyn Stark born here at Winterfell, or a motherless bastard born in the south?" LF is a master of seduction. 2 Likes |

Guys, what do you think would have happened if Cercie stood trial and was found guilty? What punishment would she get ? |
Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by waywardpikin: 4:38pm On Jun 28, 2016 |
Gmajor: Sansa isn't nearly as smart as she thinks she now is. And this isn't about her marrying LF (which is still very much a possibility given her innate fragility). This is about her feelings toward Jon Snow now that he has been proclaimed King of the North, and what she intends to do about it. |

Graviton2: They quench regular fire but i don't think they will be immune to dragon fire. Although, i am open to the possibility. |

UjSizzle: Nah, it was definitely disappointment and Sansa's was smug. In my opinion tho |

Nihilist: Do you not have a shred of honor? They were obligated to answer the call. If they had, it would have increased Jon's chances. We know no king than the king in the north whose name is stark. |

Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Gbola5(m): 5:40pm On Jun 28, 2016 |
moski5: Book Dany's birth of dragons was a one time thing. A miracle, something that never happened before. The rebirth of magic(or was that the Others). And she does get burnt in ADWD. It is known from her inner monologue. Drogon roared. The sound filled the pit. A furnace wind engulfed her. The dragon’s long scaled neck stretched toward her. When his mouth opened, she could see bits of broken bone and charred flesh between his black teeth. His eyes were molten. I am looking into hell, but I dare not look away. She had never been so certain of anything. If I run from him, he will burn me and devour me. And later... Her skin was pink and tender, and a pale milky fluid was leaking from her cracked palms, but her burns were healing. P.S- This is not show Dany. Show Dany is immune to fire. |
Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Gbola5(m): 5:44pm On Jun 28, 2016 |
moski5: The Iron Islands are on the West of Westeros, while Meeren is far East to the South East of Essos, its farther than the distance between the Wall and the Reach which is just down south of Westeros. I guess we can ignore timelines, since that would mean more screentime. |

Gmajor: Death by beheading. |
Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 5:48pm On Jun 28, 2016 |
oyetpel: Like someone else said, do you want them to be putting 3 months later? This is a show not a film, different arcs may or may not occur in different timeframes. It's just the way it is. Also, does it matter? So far you can understand. I mean, were you really thinking the battle of bastards took 20minutes? Or varys traveled from dorne to mereen in 2 minutes? It's just one of those things we have to ignore. Also, in Sam's case, you can use the baby as a frame of reference , that's what i did. 5 Likes 1 Share |

oyetpel: That's the mistake you're making. Events across Westeros aren't happening simultaneously, perhaps not even sequentially. If you've read A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons, you'd know that. While I won't deny that there are statistical differences, with the scope of the show, it's the only way. 1 Like |

somehowpenis: Let's put it this way: Game of Thrones is objectively the greatest tv show ever. Only Breaking Bad comes close. If GoT is a 10/10, The Originals is probably a 6.5. I rate shows like Supernatural at an 8 or so; the first five seasons, at least. |
Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Gbola5(m): 7:12pm On Jun 28, 2016 |
HeavenlyBang: The two books happen chronologically. With a Feast focusing on characters in Dorne, Braavos, King's Landing and the Iron Islands, and a Dance focusing on characters in the North, the Wall, Slaver's Bay and Essos. A guy came up with a boiled leather format to reading the two books at the same time. I do agree on their timeline being the only way their story will work. 1 Like |

JhyMedex: That's the entire point of A Song of Ice and Fire. It's realistic. The fact that you have a plan doesn't mean your plan will come to fruition. Shii happens in life. That rose she drew was just to tell Olenna that she has a plan. It's the House Tyrell symbol. |
