Current information has it that the CBN plans dissolving the board and management of skyebank plc and partial take over the bank..Now, the stock is on full offer and no single bid..Reminds me about oceanic bank plc saga. * Says the Co will retain 49% shareholding in newly formed corporate vehicle, with the consortium owning 49%, and the residual 2% owned by local entity

* Says the new company will be renamed OVH Energy

* Says initial board will consist of Wale Tinubu, Group Chief Executive of Oando Plc., as the Chairman, Christian Chammas, CEO of Vivo Energy

The CBN is very culpable in this nonsense that is going on with Skye because when there were rumours swirling around a couple of months ago that Skye was distressed, the CBN released a press statement dispelling the rumours, then allowed Skye go on for almost 6 months without releasing audited results for the previous year, forcing investors to trade blindly. Shareholders of Skye should just institute a class action suit against the management of Skye for hiding results and the CBN for lying to investors.

The problem of skye is suspicious,just know that the head of amcon is former MD of the bank that was acquired by skye bank.

Nothing suspicious here.Skye and FBNH did a lot of risky lending to politically exposed persons in the last administration.Even the directors of both banks were cutting deals and stealing from their banks.

The difference now is that Skye cannot absorb the shock cos it's a small bank punching above it's weight.FBNH is barely struggling to survive and will go the way of Skye if they repeat the mistake of the last few years.
