Still in amazement though..... U hail from Ebonyi state and I can tell much about the suffering that have engulfed the people of my state...

I must confess, I love the above article, how I wish that the senseless governor wil come across it... Ebonyians have turned to hawkers in most of the state... For instance, in kogi state where I reside presently, all those people selling egg rolls in the street are from Ebonyi state... Most of us have turned to tout roaming around the streets without any hope of a colorful living....And all our governor could think of is to distribute cars to the rich while the poor gets more poorer...

I can vividly remember how most of this youths involved themselves in many unlawful act to make u become the governor.... I remember been persuaded to vote thrice for you... I still live to regret voting u into power... because the interest of ur people isn't considerable to you... A good leader is suppose to have the interest of his people at hand but in ur own side reverse is now the case....

My fellow Ebonyians, I can't give up cos God liveth.... On a good day, God will harken to our prayers ND grant us a fair government...

To you Engr Dave Nweze Umahi, receive common sense IJN...
Thanks for loving my article. Where are you from?

I still believe things would get better one day. People find it hard to believe Ebonyi people still go to school. Its not only in Lagos u see Ebonyi hawkers. Even in Abj u would. Proudly a graduate from Afikpo North Ebonyi State. Things would get better for us some day.

Rochas Okorocha forfeited his security votes and equally allocates substantial amount of Imo States monthly federal allocation but many Igbos have been attacking him for that. They claim free education is not important. Sometimes I wish I was Rochas Okorocha. How I wish I can say more, but y'all have said it all. However lemme tell the fowls who r from anambra, imo, abia or enugu we love education ok. That Ebonyi youths are in other states trying to make it in life does not mean that they don't like education ok. Seriously I'm wondering how else yu want them to do it!!! Anyway I'm a full fledged Ebonyian, if yu other igbos from other states don't count us as Igbos..broda to hell wid ur view!!! Since yu guys are the best stock yu can as well die wid it. Yu guys might have gone far in terms of devlopment and growth, remember rome was not built in a day. We might not have a sizeable number of ebonyians in schol, but I will categorically tell yu..ebonyians r hungry for success, the insults hurled at us from adam is what is pushing us. And I know we gon get there someday!!!

Enough have been said regarding our great state, Ebonyi. While acknowledging the fact that we all are entitled to our opinions, BUT WE MUST STOP WASHING OUR DIRTY LINENS HERE ON NAIRALAND. This thread would rather rebound with people from other states projecting rather virulent & bitter remarks about our people. Have u seen an Enugu indigene criticizing his governor or state, Anambra, Imo, etc.??¿?? Rather they bring up & sponsor threads that promotes it. But because of their preconceived & misguided misconception about Ebonyi State, they would rather make u more miserable & worthless before them. Needless to say that Ebonyians are the most hardworking Ibos, but they would dispute it & be blinded by the truth. Show me an Anambrarian that can get 300 heaps in a day & I will show u a Hercules among Ebonyians. Please let no one make us inferior. We all know that Ebonyi is GREAT, only time shall tell. Even people that have visited Ebonyi once know that its GREATNESS abounds. No state is perfect likewise Ebonyi, No leader is perfect likewise Dave Nweze Umahi. He may have taken his decision to suit his taste; to fulfill his constitutional role, budget, campaign promises, & god-knows-what motives. The luxury car purchase issue have come & gone, & there is little or nothing we may do about it. BUT WE CAN STILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE FUTURE OF EBONYI, but it would have to begin with every Ebonyian, by being more creative & hardworking. Aboveall, we should learn to internalize adjuged negative news about EBONYI STATE & not engage in war of words on Nairaland & others. God bless EBONYI STATE, God bless NIGERIA

Op I ve a lot to say to you

nonetheless I'll say this

When Able Nigerians like you (who may make the state productive) vow to stay away from politics what do you expect

Nigerian youths want oil n office job while avoiding The Armed forces, civil service political jobs so the crooks ve taken the advantage n messed up the Nation

Let's keep expecting the crooks to fix the Nation lol

I felt this platform will be a tool for well meaning Nigerians to take up d mantle of leadership n combine forces to rid d nation of d elements n issues plaguing her instead it's Snakes killed, Someone's big boobs n ass, Religious n tribal sentiments

Keep putting up these 'interesting' topics while the Nation goes to rot
NB remember we'll live in dis mess with our families if we don't do smtin Now n when our grandkids r grown we can hope d complaints dey ve r different from ours now

Big bro, don't deal with those driving the suv because it's a gift from the governor and they have no reason to reject it but they should opt for made in Nigeria products. Leave that guy upon there, I think he reasons with dick, not brain.

I learnt one of the member rejected the gift her nicknname is AFIKPO
Re: I Weep For My State Ebonyi By Wisdomkosi by stansaintly(m): 1:43pm On Jul 09, 2016
It took me almost an hour to comment on this topic. The "gift" should be viewed in two ways, for me, it's usefully useless considering that there are lots of things that should take precedence. Anyway, it's ok. After all, Ebonyi State is not as poor as people presumed it to be.

In the midst of this, has he (the governor) tarred Abakaliki - Abba omega road? Hmmm! That road is a trap against human life.

my dear son, ebonyi state does not pay any graduate less than #50,000.. Workers at GL06 step 4 recieve #29,760 monthly (and dats SSCE holders). U cant find a graduate employed below dat level. So from dis explanation how on earth does a graduate earn less than 30k in Ebonyi? Which other state has recruited into its Civil service since d commencement of dis administration?
