He's the catalyst for Griezman who feeds off his striker.
Can people see why I stated I would always prefer a creative midfielder over Griezman in the centre?
He's not creative nor a pure threat except when his strike partner is threatening. Players like him should find their spot as an inverted forward on he wing or as a striker. Kapish!

Even he should know that his best success was when he had deeplying playmakers such as Deco, Motta and Sneidjer to some extent, orchestrating the play in the heart of the midfield...
Hence, players like Pogba as his midfield general would never help him. In fact, Fabregas who's more of an attacking midfielder but a decent-average playmaker would outclass Pogba in this state.
