Hence, players like Pogba as his midfield general would never help him. In fact, Fabregas who's more of an attacking midfielder but a decent-average playmaker would outclass Pogba in this state.

I think Mourinho is looking to:

1. Balance the team with some tall players and physical players.

2. Bring players who can dramatically propel the team to play his style.

Mourinho is not a fan of tikitaka. The players available in the team cannot adapt to his style. They are almost all the same now, players with good pass, soft, small and fragile.

We need to improve on our speed, duel, and ability to win aerial balls across the field. Looking at Mata, Herrera, Lingard, Fellaini, Blind, it is obvious we are not a balanced team in teams of blending physicality and technique. Some we have a big man among the front three. We have Schneirderlin and (may be Pogba in the middle). Our defence is apparently sorted. But I would have taken Bonucci over Bailly, may be it is part of the physical blending of the team.

The boy is crap Jor... he wants to be carrying shoulder like a superstar without putting in work. He may have talent (which I struggle to see sef) but he has to change his attitude, show some hunger and drive. He has not "arrived" as the media and his aides havevgotten him to believe.

Pogba and Zlatan in ManUtd... just expect two empty vessels who will only show up in games against the likes of Tirana Torpedos, Layton orient and Yeovil.
