I stand to be corrected, but I remember vividly that Wristwatch started the interview thingy ever on NL. He deserves credit for that.

Moreover, I stand to be corrected.
They have handled previous pageant interviews.

Whether or not they are good persons is not in dispute.
There are lots of things I can take as BullShit.
Betrayal, either directly or indirect isn't one of them.

DyG has always held and speaks of them in high esteem to me as far as their role in this contest is concerned.

Lately, I have had the joy of adjusting to life as a family woman....Being a voltron on NL is really not a strong forte anymore.
But DyG?
He is worth it.

I have respect for you now too, Irene.
Don't go spoiling it.

There has never been any pre contest interviews in this contests until this year... Never..

interviews were always in the form of Contest questions and post contest interview for the winner..

Never before the contest itself

I've tried as much as possible to stay away from all these Miss/Mr Nl pageantry.. But the truth is that what you wrote up there is erroneous and hugely self serving..

In the 6 edition preceding this year's contest, there was never an interview.. Never. The only interviews are the final contest questions for the finalists. I

Those interviews aren't a show of intelligence. They've never been. Instead it has been a source of controversy. Accusations of contestants having someone answering questions for them.

If you are really interested in contestants' intelligence, then have a go at them on the campaign thread and try to ask smart and cunning questions that will expose their inadequacies. That's how it has always been.

And singling out Dygeasy for your diatribe is ridiculous and petty. That guy singlehandedly rejuvenated this contest when it was almost dead. Give the young man the credit he deserves for consistently managing certified arseholes like yourself.

Mr Dygeasy.. 1 lesson.. Change doesn't always make things better.

cheers

Obayaya.... I salute o.

I don't have kind words for you either Mr Fynestboi..

You brought up this interview thing during the Miss NL contest.. And all these controversies can trace it's root to that singular action.

And now, Mr. Dygeasy and the organising team is taking the fall for trying to accommodate your excesses.

Fynestboi boy didn't bring the interview. Actually when he organised a private interview for the contestants, Dygeasy asked him to stop, saying there's already a planned interview in the offing for the contestants.

Go look for the thead, you wasted moronic mandrillus chimpanzee.

This is how you go about making baseless statement like an epileptic major sufferer.

Oh you don't know there are certain untold rules as a contestant? You have a big problem in that case, this is why you being a moderator ought not to be in the race. You just can't draw the line.

Next time you highlight comments, try not to include the ones that would make you appear as a biased oaf! "Dygeasy should be given credit," let's say I accept that, but what gave that mofo the right to call another man an "arsehole"? And that's the part you chose to highlight?

If my memory serves me correctly, I remember that the likes of Tohpahz and Twaci were interviewed, among other contestants.
Though, it wasn't in an official capacity because at the time, the central team of organizers weren't really sold in on the idea.

It is this year that Tosyne's and Wristwatch' work became widely recognized.

Okay,
TheSonO.fMark

This is the point where I'm meant to throw a matching reply at your insults, right?

Nope.
I won't do that.
Not because I lack the capacity and capability to, but because there is more to life than throwing heathen and brazen insults at people you may never meet in this life, but surely in the after-life.

The only thing stopping you from going on the offensive is because you don't want KingSLAY on your trail launching the most vicious lexical attacks and taking repeated shots to dent your psyche. You don't want to be victim X. You know this, I know this, Nairalanders know this.wink

Back then, in my politics section hay days, we used to be good online pals.

Where and how you arrived at the false notions with which you seek to create a debacle on this thread (should I indulge you) is a tad befuddling. But I shouldn't be right? smiley

This is Life and people have a right to change.
Being good pals with KingSLAY doesn't mean I wouldn't highlight your hypocrital stance. I'm blunt and would always state what I think of my 'pals' , in their presence nonetheless.

You're deliberately pitting Tosin against _Dygeasy to further your own selfish cause. Divide and rule, huh?

Anyway, I forgive you.

I'm having Banana and Nuts for breakfast.
Care to join?
wink
Forgive me? How condescending!

You should seek forgiveness for being partisan in a clear-cut case. You should seek forgiveness for playing the wedge in a bonding and reconciliation process.

No-one is interested in what you're having for breakfast, miss! Spare us the details!

MizMyColi:

Mimzy,

Did you read where DyG admitted that he wasn't the initiator cum originator of the interview?
So how exactly does the "birthing" come into play?

And why jump into conclusions based on a narrative by Tosyne2much?
Whatever happened to hearing from both sides seeing as you're really interested in the interview process for whatever reasons there are.

You have a preconceived notion and that is so unfair and insensitive.

He has stated on this thread the reason why he scrapped the interview earlier, yet you went ahead to post in the manner you did. Any unbiased and largely sane mind should be able to relate with that, but you don't, do you?
undecided

I wonder if you have ulterior motives
Or didn't you see the above quoted??
Any discerning mind will be able to read my post with a balanced sense of judgment but not you...

I don't have a prob with anyone, don't brew hate when there is none.
