I don't think Perreira started any game last season except the cup game and he bossed that game. All the players you mentioned were given a chance the show their ability with a lot of starts.

You can't judge Perreira based on a few substitute appearances played out of position. Hope he can get 7-10 starts this season.

Peeps seem to agree Mikhi is good in the no 10 role. It only means we probably still need another RW so that we can interchange/substitute during a game. Mata also has his work cut out.

Rooney also seem to be running outta positions to play if younger players are showing promise in his supposedly preferred position which is behind the striker as Mou has said he aint a midfielder and we have Zlatan.

I also think Mikhi works better in the centre with drifting wing forwards. Other than dropping deep into the midfield at times, he was constantly swapping roles with the likes of Depay and Lingard. This alone contributed to our fluid attack in the first half. The 2nd half was a bit dull apart from the goals and Perreira.
I'm saying this already, I would rather Mkhi plays in the middle than a rigid Rooney who wouldn't move an inch from the centre, especially if we have no visionary midfielder to constantly release him on the wing and with Rooney who wouldn't interchange nor drift to the wing to allow Mkhi drift into the middle. The best possible way is to deploy Mikhi in the centre.
I could still remember how Kagawa came into live on the wing as soon as Mata got deployed in the middle. Prior to that, he found it difficult interchanging with Rooney who wouldn't move an inch from the middle.

Yes, against Ipswich he did well. The whole team played well. But when we lost to Middlesbro he was on for 90 minutes and did nothing. When he was also brought on against Wolfsburg at Old Trafford he was not seen.

You are wrong to say Rashford and Januzaj were given plenty of opportunity. Januzaj shone on his first match. At a time Manchester United were struggling, Van Persie and Rooney were not scoring at the time. Then entered the stage, Januzaj, and became our best player that period. Rashford should be fresh in your memory. On Lingard who was given chance, he had proven himself in the pre-season.

@sinizia I download effortlessly with glo any time I'm in Lagos. It depend on where you live tho but if you stay Lagos within Surulere-Iganmu-IkejaGRA-Bonny Cantonment-Victoria Island-Ikoyi-Lekki-Ajah-IbejuLekki-Epe areas then glo is your best bet.

MTN has the wider coverage from my experience moving around Naija still but mehn those guy annoy me.
