good afternoon all.Egg donors are mostly found in various ivf centres.Just tell your Dr u need a donor and u will get it.Also,d use of surrogates should be discussed with your Dr.They are our confidants in this struggle.Discuss everything with them b4 one bothers oneself over nothing or expose oneself to fraud.Wishing us all a bfp in our various cycles

Explore alternatives to balance your hormones. It might take time but IVF isn't the next course of action. You might also need to have a change of gynea who will work with you on this.

Hello mamas. I have been a silent reader 4 a while. I'm just fed up of this ttc. Hubby and I concluded on going 4 ivf. I want to know which is better between Georges and Bridge Clinic. I'm also seeing promo for Garki hospital. I don't mind oo. Anything to save cost. How good is Garki hospital compared to Bridge and Georges? Pls don't mind my plenty question cos i m just a novice. I'm glad I found this great forum. Both d ttc and ivf thread are amazing. God will put an end to our ttc soon.

You could share your tcc challenges here and you would be surprised at the wealth of experience before you conclude on IVF. What is your doctor saying?

In btw, all the clinics you mentioned have more of good reviews from my own point of view

why not try a medicated iui instead. It works for most unexplained infertility. Meanwhile, hope you have gone for a second opinion to confirm. You can also talk to your doctor about timed bd while using ovulation induction drugs with trigger.

Nthing is certain in IVF. Take it from me.
Keep an open mind. Going for ivf if your tubes are patent Is like killing a mosquito with a gun.
Doont be in a hurry to expose yoour uterus to instrumentation and your body to medication (experience also speaking)
If clomid dosent work, there are alternatives.

How did you respond to the Clomid? How many follicles and their sizes? Did you monitor and did timed bding? Did you confirm how many ruptures? There are different ways to run natural medicated cycles since your dh's count is ok. Talk with your doctor about using hcg shot to trigger ovulation. It works better and gives you easier timing. Another thing you'd consider is your fertile mucus. How slippery is it? This will help you determine whether You need to boost it. As a matter of fact, that's major reason some doctors suggest iui for unexplained infertility should in case the mucus is hostile to spe.rm

I only took clomid from day 1 to 5 of my period. I didn't take note of any ruptures. I took it as prescribed by my doctor. He tracked my ovulation nd told me d dates to bd with hubby. That was how I used it on d two occasions I took clomid. I didn't get pregnant, so I avoided d drugs cos I did not want to abuse it.

You mentioned no ovulation, have you tried ovulation drug therapies? Mostly used are clomid, Femara, Injectable FSH hormones etc, depending on the protocol ur doc wants to take. If you still have good quality eggs in ur ovaries and your BMI is within the normal range, you might achieve success. Doc will usually place you on these drugs and ultrasounds are done to monitor follicle size while you are advised to BD on alternate days, after which hcg injection is given to release the eggs. If success is not achieved between 3 to 6 months, then you will probably be advised to go thru IUI b4 IVF since your tubes are patent and if your hubby's SFA results are good for IUI.

There's another protocol mentioned by LadyGuinivere on this page. I understand your concern as I also have stayed longer than that TCC. If you wanna go straight for the IVF, prepare your body, go thru detoxification, loss excess weight, read this thread (all) and arm yourself with good info. Speaking from experience, this money isn't easy to find. Wish ya success

@ chukddy7, Also want to add that apart from low estrogen preventing ovulation, it also affects the thickening of the linen of the uterus which causes implantation failure. There are herbs that can help balance low estrogen, so you need to also care of this alongside ovulation issues. Research these herbs before taking them o. I know of dong quai, soy, Royal Jelly, Maca, and Vitex. They are available in leading pharmacies

Please my Sister, which clinic can do flushing and iui combined?
My tubes have been opened before sometime last year but due to time lag, I'm adviced to do flushing again. So I want to do medicated iui post flushing instead of natural cos sperm pours out too much. Treated with herbs, still same. Hubby's count is above average

Thanks as I await your reply

It depends on your location. I'm in the East. Though I personally wouldn't advice flushing and iui same cycle. Reason being you might need to take some antibiotics after as a precaution for some hospitals. Even without antibiotics your body will take its time to clear the dye from your system and most hospitals prefer day 10. So I'd say to do flushing on the preceeding cycle instead. Discuss with your doctor. You can also specify your location so mamas can help out on their preferrd hospitals.

Dear you need to ask question ooh. Don't follow your doctor blindly so you're be sure he's doing the right thing. He was supposed to let you know how many follicles you produced and the dorminant sizes.
Truth now is Clomid must have worked for you, since he asked you to bd. But you don't have much information on your system's response to it. Sole function of Clomid is to make you ovulate and not get you pregnant. So not getting bfp doesn't mean it didn't work.
I prefer doctors that follow up on the tracking to confirm the eggs were released. So I'd say if yours refuse, you can confirm from another lab a day or two after the expected ovultion. At least to be sure all went well on the cycle especially if hcg was not used. Hope you're using a fertilty specialist. Clomid day 1 to 5 isn't common. From day 2 or 3 is as they said to be sure you are on full flow before starting. While from research they said from day 4 above will give better quality but lesser follicles so most doctors use it for those that want to limit multiples . All the best.

I'm dumb founded. I'm really a novice. I will use a gynea not a medical doctor. Thanks mama. I'm grateful. This means I av to port to ttc thread, maybe I can conceive naturally. I thought ivf is d easiet way out of this depression and unexplained fertility. I'm grateful to all d mamas that responded to me. Only God can reward you all.

I know my redeemer lives.
Please say a prayer for me today. Beg God to show me mercy. Going for yet anther hysterescopy again today for suspected asherman's.
I'm weak in the spirit but the Lord remains my strenght. I shall not be depressed. I shall testify.
I take solace in the words of Apostle paul in 2 Cor 12: 7-9
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

@ LadyGuinivere, what can I ever do without the strength of my maker? I have had no strength of my own thru this journey but His grace was always sufficient to keep me moving. Receive that grace now in Jesus name. I do not know you, but God is all knowing and knows what you are going through. His grace will be sufficient for you today and always in Jesus name.

Some times I wanna ask questions from Him, but who am I? Isn't He the potter and I the clay? He has made us for a purpose, dear sis, you will fulfill purpose and very soon you will shout for joy. It is well with you as you go through this procedure in Jesus name. Amen
