thanks i appreciate your knowledge of how it works i am also aware of and agree with every thing you have written.

i am wasn't suggesting that i am a millionare, infact the loan was spent on all sorts i don't even have any of it left. However i was just empathising with the banker who took his life for the a mere approval of a loan.

Also i hope you are not suggesting i go down the suicide route because my debt will never be paid infact i don't intend to pay a dime back they knew i couldn't pay back prio the approval but didn't care they were just fixated on the high interest due to their greed.

are you also suggesting that it's okay for big cooporations to go burst on the banks ( other people's money) expence but not an individual personal loans.

Lastly, i hope you are not also sympathising with the banks, though it was their fault for getting me into debt.

He obviously was not mentally or emotionally strong and most likely did not follow due process. Depressed people are one trigger away from suicide, the smallest thing can make them commit. That pastor also should be thoroughly investigated as well. RIP, now his family will hear it from the bank.

Absolutely! It's also to do with Greed and expensive lifestyles, some bankers take Gambles so as to earn substantial bonuses, hence the more gambles the more heavy bonus.
i am owing bank around a £100,000 at the moment and i am even treathning them with law suit if they keep hassling me to pay up; they knew i could not afford to pay back but still went ahead and Approved the loan.

I am not sure if it is the same way in nigeria unfortunately. So any individual who resorts to suicide because of debt is i am afraid mentally inadequate.

The term i use for bank loans is our (every body's) money.

all i have to do is declare bankrupt alot of wealthy people i know are rich because they have borrowed from banks ( every body's money) and declared bankrupt while living and expesive lifestyles and in huge mansions all they had to do was to register their properties and acquisitions in their son's or wife names.

this guy is a big fool,selfish and ........he didn't even consider his wife,child and his brothers & sisters, the situation he will put them through & the other side of the case. May be it will all work for his good,he went and kill him self.if I am in his family or his wife,I will be preparing 4 my next wedding, not mourning him. This story doesn't make sense for 3 reasons:

1. Those days are long gone when Nigerians used to car e about father's name.
Especially politicians' family, good name can go straight into the toilet... it is all about the money and other great things..

2. Our system in Nigeria is not that strong for anyone to commit suicide because he or she is scared of the EFCc...If you do not believe me, pls point out how many of these thieves has EFCC prosecuted and jailed since Buhari took over.
If people like Gbenga Daniels, Akala, Fayose, Muteh, Saraki, Fani Kayode, Jonathan, Dazuki and many more have not commited suicide, this dude had no business ending his life....Abeg, this is Nigeria, not Malaysia.

3. Suicide is simply not a Nigerian thing. Even if the hell is coming down into the earth, Nigerians will still find a way to withstand the storm, manage and remain alive.
