So there's this girl my bro has been seeing. This girl is pretty and nice and my bro likes her very much. But the thing about her is that she doesn't allow my bro to spend on her and she doesn't ask him for money either. Few weeks ago, she was on her natural hair and so my bro asked her how much she needed to make it but she said no, that he shouldn't worry about it. Last week my bro wanted to the her shopping and she said no. Just the other day, they went to a mall to shop for themselves and at the counter my bro wanted to pay for both of them but she strongly refused and paid hers. When my bro asked her why she keeps refusing his money, she said "i don't want you to feel like I owe you anything afterwards and i also don't want to feel indebted to you. I don't want to feel like i should give you anything in return." what is your view on this? |

Hence, you see them with this funny entitlement complex that assumes they've got rights to empty your pocket at will just becos you've approached them! This shouldn't be an issue. Why does he feel he needs to pay her for attention and love? There is something wrong with it. He can get her occasional gifts but offering her money for hair, etc is just wrong. She is a smart lady who knows how entitled some guys feel when they give money to their girls. Now she will see if he can respect and love her when he has no "leverage". |
