I sincerely hope Kowa would come out stronger with young, vibrant, intelligent and dynamic candidates in 2019.

Fulani issues and Boko Haram has highly reduced as well as corruption. What we are experiencing in terms of economy is effects of dependence on oil and sabotage by nda which can only be solved easily through violence. IMO violence should be employed as a last option after the ongoing dialogue is exhausted. Right now if I was Buhari there is nothing extra I could do better than what is being done.

Cast your mind back to what it was just weeks before handover!! There was no fuel anywhere, no electricity, banks were closing by 12noon because there was no electricity. Telecoms companies were unable to sustain their activities due to issues bordering on availability of gasoline/diesel to power their generators, etc!!

All these happening when crude was still being sold @ $70pb!! Now, it is being sold at just over half that price and people expect to see miracles happen!! Brother, it isn't that simple.

5 weeks before that there was fuel, electricity was better, banks were closing on time, and telecoms copanies were able to sustain their activities.

Militants grow with each passing day, Fulani herdsmen are kings of the bushes, forests, streets and roads, Buratai, the COAS, has corruption allegations on his neck too. How about the common man?

I might be comfortable and doing well but would most Nigerians say the same? We never bargained for this. This isn't what we asked for. The only reason I'd vote APC in 2019 is IF Fashola is allowed to run. President Buhari is clearly not the answer we seek.

Every Nigerian needs to admit that he/she is a contributing factor in the debacle called Nigeria. When you burn suspects in the streets or you are an on looker, when you give policemen bribe, when you take bribe, when you litter and dump refuse indiscriminately, when you vote based of the garri, rice or salt someone gave you, etc, you are directly contributing to Nigeria being a failed state. All these problems did not just start today. It is a culmination of half a century of bad citizenry and bad leadership.

1. The fuel scarcity experienced before the handover of GEJ actually occurred AFTER Buhari/APC had already won the election. Does it make any sense that APC would sabotage fuel supply or power supply even after they had already won?

2. Price of oil as at May 2015 was actually about $65 (not $70); you are a bit right about oil price being lower, but 65/70 isn't a big difference.

3. The same people who accuse APC of blame game still turn around to say Amaechi and Fashola are the ones who forced GEJ to share ECA, such amusing hypocrisy. And one begins to wonder whether these same governors didnt also pressure OBJ and Yaradua (even with court cases) to share this same money. now let's assume GEJ yielded because he is a man of peace and due process, the fact remains that states only took their share of the money, they took what belonged to them while the FG still kept the bulk (over 52%) of the total ECA funds. Since we love these baseless blame games so much, kindly tell us, was it also these 2 APC governors that forced the FG to squander its own 52% share of the ECA funds?

Simple solutions, reduce interest rates, reduce import duties on machineries, increase import duties on finished products. Offer tax holidays for people wanting to set up factories. The 'Government' doesn't need money for the country to work. Also, offer tax holidays to companies willing to embark on capital projects in the budget. Bottom line, this government is solving the problem the wrong way. Get businesses involved. Also, give offers to exporters such that the foreign exchange comes back to Nigeria.

I never had faith in these government because i have always known they are worst than the past and believe me not has change.... Many nigerians were deceive by word change but they neva asked what is changing...

What will a visionless president do?

Answer : He will tense up the fragile peace in the Niger delta by first revoking a proposed university of Niger delta, he would order the EFCC to start investigating ex militants for corruption, he would then order the EFCC to declare Tompolo wanted and infact give him a deadline to turn himself in (who does that) without remembering that till recently Tompolo was in charge of pipelines surveillance for year so had good upstanding of how they work.

Another instance is in a country that has an employment and productivity deficit and depend on small 4 stroke Petrol Generators to drive most of the small businesses because of poor power supply ..what does Buhari do ? He orders the minister of power to increase the electricity tarrif by 50 percent and then goes ahead to increase petrol price by almost double . A wise president would increase petrol and maintain the electricity tariff as it is till the economy improves because increase both at the same time will increase the cost production by over 100 percent thereby driving a rapid inflation..

Bro I can go on and on ..Buhari lacks good decision making abilities infact if you give him the Swedish economy today he will destroy it in a year.

The bolded part of your message above is where I totally believed Buhari goofed; you do not use a sledge hammer to kill a fly that perches on your scrotum, not especially if you intend to have kids soon. Going after Tompolo and co. was a very silly move by this administration, there were countless other corrupt people the government could have gone after, not this particular fly perching on the scrotum.

The other parts of your message I do not agree; the increase in tariff was part of the power sector privatisation roadmap, it wasn't Buhari's making. Secondly, the increase in fuel price occasioned by the removal of subsidy and withdrawal of subsidised forex to importers was an inevitable evil considering the state of the nation. There was fuel scarcity because buhari said oil subsidy doesn't exist after he won d election,and oil marketers didn't want to bring in fuel when they are not sure if d new govt would pay them,that's simple logic.How was it GEJ faulth?
