Hi, I got that exact email last month when I called the UKVI. Its just for them to have all the necessary details to track your application.

And what's happened after that ?
Did you get your visa?

Hi guys,
This is just a message and help to those who've been refused settlement visa and are considering appealing the case bearing in mind they know they have the chance of winning the appeal. I would honestly advice on this case, you re-apply cos the waiting process is not a joke guys and it appears to be intentional to stall appellants. If you know you can afford the reapplication fees and provide substantial documents to prove your application, Pls don't hesitate to reapply and if you know you can afford to wait for more than a year without your spouse being with you, then the choice is yours.
Cheers.

The key should be to avoid the above. Ensure your application is watertight.
Appealing or reapplying, considering the initial application cost is a huge financial burden to bear.

good day to you all,
been following this thread for a while, and i want to wish all applicants good luck in their application.
my question simply is, does d applicants spouse need to attach his/her work bank statement, payslips, tax clearance, along side that of the applicant? or d financial documents required that of the applicant alone?
thank you.

Applicants spouse's does not need to submit any financial information.
All documentations burden lays on the sponsor's shoulder, head, leg, skin etc etc etc. You get my drift?

The a0plicant suppose Na the sponsor for spouse visa abi another person fit be sponsor?

If you are using combined savings to satisfy financial requirement, yes the applicant financials can be considered.

lol grin i get your drift. thank you.
for accommodation, how long does d spouse have to have lived in d apartment? If he doesn't pay rent, what can he present as documentation?(he was given a room in a three bedroom apartment). and if he gets his own place and present just one or two months bills for the apartment, will that be enough for the decision maker.

To also show evidence that the spouse has been sending money to his partner, can receipts be printed for gtb online transfers?

Would the applicant still be earning the salary in their point of location, if visa is granted?
And I think OP is not considering joint financials(not unless I understood the question wrongly).
Oya OP report for clarification(s).

If the property is joint occupancy, I think you need to pay about £180 or so(not sure of amount, b4 I get crucified) to ascertain if property is suitable.
What kind of accommodation does the sponsor presently have (I hope sponsor is not squatting)?
If sponsor gets another apartment, the rent agreement or mortgage deeds would suffice.
About online forex transfers, pack and put everything and anything to help your application.
NB: Don't submit a half baked application (thinking prayer + fasting + mountain climbing), might yield positive results. It's an expensive application, not unless you want to gamble hardearned £'s away!!!

Agreed. if you ask me,if you have savings (which can be account for) even if you will not use it as part of the financial requirement, just add it to your application just to show that you are not coming to the UK with your hands swinging and that you have some money to spend. this place everything na money o

Between YOU and I(only). If a party has substantial savings, relocating to the UK would surely be the last thing on their minds.
How many people applying for spousal visas enter the UK with £5000.00?

I have included my wife letter from her company, payslips, P60, we both surpass the £18,600 mark, I have included my payslips too, pictures, whatsapp messages (just 2days every month from 2012 - 2016) hope that's enough, her British and Nigerian Passport biopage and stamps, utility bills from he apartment before but she moved to her folks place because i'll be coming soon so we can look for an apartment together & we also included the utility bills from her folks and also a letter from them, flights & hotel bookings made together, the refusal of entry I was given when I tried to apply for a visitor's visa some yea back (also included that) smiley....

Hi

It's been now more than two months (nearly 9 weeks) since I re-submitted passport with call in letter to tlscontact to stamp visa on it.

Still waiting for their response and my passport return.

I DID email them, , they said that the appeal team will deal with my appeal. But I don't know when, or if any thing gone wrong.

So so worried and stressing. cry

All you have to do is wait. Patience is a virtue. Use the intervening periods to either learn how to plait hair or a handy job that might be useful when you arrive in the uk.

Hello, please I have very serious question.

my question follow.

I have my uncle who marry British woman and just goes to UK not up to a Month, he applied for sponsor visa from Nigeria and the application was granted. But getting to UK now the marriage is not working out because the woman I never marry before at age of 45yr and she very troublesome and my uncle cant stand the nagging and the fight everyday, he not ready to dead with her problem.

so my uncle can't stand the marriage again because the woman is killing, What can my uncle do to change the paper from the relationship with his wife.

We need your advice, my uncle is coming back to Nigeria to attend my wedding October and go back UK after 3month now.

so we just need you advice what him can do in next few month coming now.

Really, I think your uncle needs to allow time for his marriage to work, there is one thing having a long distance relationship and living together.

the stress his wife would have endured to get him his visa, I am sure she is just letting it out, and no maybe she shouldn't be doing that however everyone deals with stress in different ways.

if he loves her and she him , then I am sure they will find a way, a month is not even enough time to call it a day.

It wasn't easy when my husband first came but we got through it, and are happy as ever have been.

Tell him not to give up just yet.

does contacting the home office frequently can affect visa process, or making it on delay

Contacting them has no impact on decision, unless of course you ask very disturbing questions smiley

Does anyone know if it is necessary for me to submit evidence of my change of name with my application? If yes, what kind of evidence do i need to submit?

Glory be to God all mighty ....this has been a long time coming but on the 29th July I received my passport with entry clearance level to the United Kingdom.

We paid for priority but due to previous applications made in uk that had been rejected this meant priority was void. BUT the wait was worth it.

To the main guys on this forum you know yourselves God bless you all. Thanks for setting up such a forum because if it wasn't for all the things we read here this message I am sending would not have been the case.

I will post my time line in bit.. and just to let you know this message was typed from the confort of my home in london bless you all tongue grin

Hi MoAbs,

I think the length of the visa is fine. You can also watch the video on youtube on how to fill in the application form.

I hope it will be helpful for other parts as well.
