I think that price partially fair ,but what most people always do is to dig soak away and buy few laterite to complete the filling, it depend on the state and site location.

yes that is true i ask the engineer to do it so he said is too raining now that we will have to set the soak away if we have to do like that and i have not budget that now

If that is the stage the earth filling is, as shown in the picture, you will need more than 20k.

very ok, but try negotiate to roofing stage to like 160k, I think u will be at the gain side.

the thing the first person i gave money did not bring the first 10trips complete my engineer said so then i have to ask my mother to go and order for 10trips again her self to see if it true to my surprise to guy only brought 7tips and said is 10trips i have to tell the guy to stop coming to the site because i trusted everything to him before

Just try and monitor your suppliers well. 5- 10trips should be more than OK.

see if you want to build your family must be there or you should make sure you supply materials yourself and allow someone monitor them, that's the fact.

let me advice you the way I did my 3 bedroom flat, I took my plan to where I bought the iron rod, a guy there (welder), cut and bind it for at a cheaper price for the whole 3bedroom I think 5k, and I pack it to the site for 1500 naira, have already agreed with the carpenter 12k to do the lintel post+ pillar and the rest, all you will do is to buy the wood, let him give you the estimate of wood needed, go to sawmill and buy maybe 2by12 and they cut it where necessary at the rate of 20naira per one, my brick layer agreed 140k from foundation to roofing. But since you are not on ground just bring the quotation here experienced landlord will guide you, then you pay them to buy it all. It's better you buy the material since you are not using a building contractor at a particular amount,Note: before you view any quotation get a chilled water by your side. God will finish it for you grin

Since you are not on ground get the quotation with details of the type of wood and iron needed for the casting for both welder and carpenter then let your mum get it all for you, but pls make sure you give the engineer sometn so that all of you will smile together. Never give them money to buy site material because you will be the one to stay in the house to avoid building collapse or shortage of materials. Mine end up selling my cement but he was caught.

my am already a victim the person i trusted betrayed me i gave him money to make blocks for me my brother the blocks the guy make is useless i was told that some of the blocks are not strong the idiot use my cement for his own project which is on plastering level now i have spend about 320k to mound blocks and they said the block on grand can't even take it to liltel at all

That's serious you need strict monitoring, they don't want to know maybe you suffer to get the cash or u wait till u come down but this inflation of a thing na wahala.

Can you give the price(s) of the ones you might know in the areas you mentioned. This is not to discredit the lady that posted that she got one in that area, but for general idea....and who knows maybe opportunity calls for someone

Also, maybe in some good areas you have

Madam some features add to price of land o.. If it's at a Cornerpiece, if it's flat, by the roadside, beside a landmark, etc etc..

And since you've already bought it, I assume you saw it before paying. If bought by family members, you know how it is (depending on your type of family members).
