PLEASE GUYS, WHAT OTHER WAY CAN ONE USE IN GETTING VISA TO GO AND STUDY IN GERMANY SINCE THEY HAVE STOPPED STUDENT VISA APPLICATION. IS THERE ANY ALTERNATIVE? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I GOT AN ADMISSION FOR MSc STUDY AND THE PROGRAMME WILL START ON OCTOBER 17, 2016. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT BECAUSE AM NEW TO THIS. THANK YOU ALL IN ANTICIPATION FOR YOUR ADVICE.

Hello guys, do i stand a chance of getting my db account opened after i got a rejection mail last week am trying to increase the balance on my account statement but as at now am still stuck on 2.5m and my new appointment date is 29th of august while my interview is on 30th.

For those who attacked me recently thinking I only paint nice pictures that are not d reality on ground in Germany, attached is d picture of a Nigerian who came to Germany like any of us, did her bsc and MSC here in Fulda and got a job in Munich and got married last week to another Nigerian guy who came here also as a student. D wedding held also on German soil

Funny enough, I av always come across the success stories of Nigerians here. That is not to say d success comes on a platter of gold like some people think I implied but if they can do it then I can.

I also got admission in the university of Bremen, now I am preparing for the rest, but the most difficult step of all steps is opening a blocked bank account, I am not sure what kind of bank statement is required, or if the bank statement must contain the same amount as the minimum requirement ? time is short and it's running fast,

Keep the hope alive. I know some peeps that got an appointment 2 days ago after waiting a while. They will most definitely consider you if your resumption date is far. You can try sending them another mail highlighting when your enrollment deadline is. Viel Gluck.

Are lot of guys spending extra semesters after the official 2 years duration for the masters period.

What are the major causes?

Is it projects, thesis or some repeated courses causing delay?

What do you think about spending extra semesters and how often is that happening (e.g spending a semester extra after the official 2 years before graduating.)?

Experienced guys in Germany, what is your take on this based on what you see, noticed or experiencing.

Note: Not going there to work just to study

Hello Everyone. I think the consulate is serious about no student visa appointment for winter semester 2016/2017. I booked an appointment for opening of blocked account though I got there late & wasn't allowed in, I had to book another date which is next week. So I tried booking an appointment for student visa with my admission letter, data page of my passport & the print out of the blocked account appointment mail & I got this:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately, there are no student visa appointments available for the Winter-Semester 2016/2017. Due to an expremely high demand all available appointments have been booked already. I regret that I cannot be of assistance to you.

This same week last year my Visa got approved, the journey so far has been so interesting, living and learning new things every day. The struggle is real and the hustle is hard plus school workload BUT WE STILL BALLING TIGHT...In all ways, i never regretted making this bold decision.

No matter what you do, the embassy will choose when to contact you. If your enrollment deadline is at stake, you can msg your school to interfere with d process.i have seen cases where the school msged the alien office on the student's behalf.. or you can contact them yourself if you tink u v waited enuf o.. Don't annoy them sha, dt won't be good at all.
my 7cents: go and play police and thief on BRT lane, while u expect your sucess AM mail. cheesy

Embassy no dey try o! My friend that had his interview on 5th July, same day with me, got rejection yesterday.

Why it took them that long is confusing to me. And his deadline is now close. angry

This ain't the embassy, any rejection that surpasses the normal 5days limit is from the Alien office of his city. what city is he suppose to head? Msc? and what was the reason fo rejection?

Sad stuff tho, it is well. He can still pull something, by begging for enrolment extension and remonstrating to d Alien office.
