A country where people are denied their essential human rights.

A guy gets locked up for naming his dog Buhari, meanwhile the guy who made the naked statute of Donald Trump is still walking around a free guy.

The Fulani guy who raped that 13 year old girl (Esaru) was not charged with any crime or locked up, he even took the presidential private jet back to Kano.

The sad part is that some Nigerians will laugh over it, I realized a long time ago that Nigerians are gracefully stupid

The northerners has contributed 75% to Nigeria problems. Starting from Bubu, Fulani herdsmen, boko haram e.t.c
fighting and killing is in thier blood, and thats why most of them are in the Nigeria Army. Well i'm not surprised, they inherited it from usman Danfodio.

His daughter's name is Temi because he's not actually Igbo. He's from a part of Delta State that speak Igbo /Igboid languages but his hometown also speak Yoruba and Igala.

We once named our female dog 'Thatcher' after the late British Prime Minister as well as a male dog 'Botha' after the late South African Apartheid Ruler. We did this then because Mrs Thatcher took a hardline stance against sanctions over the regime and of course Botha's I no send attitude motivated that.

The point here is that naming a dog after a human is usually done to commemorate an evil or ill rather than in admiration of that person. Naming the dog after Buhari was probably to indirectly voice out his resentment over the current living conditions. The fact that he is from 'you-know-where' contributed in his arrest as well as religion (Muslims and dogs are not best of friends) which could also exacerbate the religious tension in the country. we should try and be mindful of these things before taking any action.

He may left untouched but attacked secretly for the same action. angry

Someone pointed the Trump statue in New York as an example of free democracy ...yes this is correct but then those people don't read unnecessary meanings into those things. Religion and tribal undertones don't crop up there.
