tell me what will happen if a white man has the word "nigga" tattooed on his dog or goat walks around in a black community in America the land of the free?
In case you're not aware, there are active white supremacy groups doing exactly that. A and they are sing free. That is freedom of expression.

I feel sorry for most Nigerians that run silly comparisons between us and the advanced nations.... The gap is too far and your wailing can't add to bettering it....

You are aware of the kind of government we have in this Nation , still you went ahead and named your dog after a poorly performing leader.... Wow clap for ursef, naming your dog Buhari will bring back Chibok girls...

Shut up. There is a Yoruba woman that named a dog after his grand father.

EVen Isco of Real Madrid has a dog named after Messi because his family members like Messi.

Naming a dog is out of admiration. undecided
then tell him to name he dog ojukwu and stop argument

Its funny how many people don't realize that there are certain actions one might take that can land them in jail..

I'm sure the Man knew no better.. He probably was clueless to the fact that inscribing the Presidents name on a Dog and walking it through a Northern dominated neighborhood to cause mischief and have a few laughs at the outrage he would cause could land him in jail.. grin grin

The Courts have decided.. He wouldnt get more than 3 - 6 Months or a fine or even both.. But this is a lesson to people..

Sai President Buhari..

God Bless Nigeria..

God will only start blessing Nigeria, when folks like you start speaking the truth.

Na WA o, so we are no longer free to choose names for our dogs.
This is wrong. I don't support the man's actions but still this is a democracy we should have freedom of speech, freedom to air out opinions.

Once you shut the masses up we might as well go back to the military era.
What are you saying self?nobody says you shouldn't name your dog anything you want .but he didnt only name the dog buhari. Rather he wrote the name on the dogs fur and paraded it amongst hausas.we all know the president isn't the only one bearing buhari.so many hausas do and you know the chaos that can cause.at the end when violence starts people like you will be the one to say fulani herds men are on rampage.let's leave religious sentiments, tribalism aside and political views.this will only cause chaos.

The only reason some might avoid doing that is for their own personal safety. But yes, it has happened, many times, and they aren't out in jail for that.

Nigerians are stupid as can be. We are all here complaining about this tyrant that calls himself president . We cant w all take action by calling our dogs, horse cats rats buhari and pasting same on face book and let us see how many they will arrest. it was the common citizens of turkey that took to the street to stop last month's coup. we all hide behind our computers to be calling each other wailers, zoombies, afonja... we better come together to decide the kind of leader we want

Upgrade your IQ. Read and digest before you reply me.

You name a dog after someone you admire. Is Ojukwu his hero? So Delta State is now an Igbo state abi? Later folks like you will be screaming attache by force when one says SE/SS.

After this ordeal you must learn how to respect others feelings, be modest in your conduct, follow the crowd with caution and shun mischievous conducts.

U need to quit this reasoning...just stop and think..I'm Christian...even Jesus Christ will not be foolish even to go looking for trouble in an Islamist area..if they killed him nko

Yes, let's be sensitive to blood thirsty folks.
Did the man beat anybody? No. Did he kill anybody? No. Just because a particular set of people can't tolerate other people's opinions, we should be sensitive or they will kill us.

Yesterday, they killed many because their god was insulted. Don't annoy blood thirsty folks.

There is no truth in you on this case!!!!!!!!

"likely to commit breach of peace" ur support for fascist ideologies might make u more stupid. You would likely be kept in prison custody because u are likely to steal, without u stealing. If anyone cannot stand insult he should vacate the place immediately, we cannot say because some animals are violent we should give in to their demands.

Goodluck Jonathan was even more defamed than this and yet we didn't see the police harassing people.

Chapter 4 of 1999 Constitution has been raped.

D police did nothing to stop d unscrupulous demagogues accusing him. now pple who call themselves d religion of peace(vampire). are angry when dis man gives his dog's name bubu. Right from d amalgamation of 1914. Nonsense part of dis nation did nt satisfied anymore with der own resources.. I did nt pray we separation but to b in Godly love, peace & UNITY.
