Address the cause rather than wasting ur time on the symptoms as that wouldn't solve the problem. The Christians should stop blaspheming cos the muslims don't joke with it. The earlier u take that instruction, the better. Must u insult their religion as if ur life depends on it? Freedom of expression does not include insulting other people's religion.cool let the mentions start rolling in, nonsense.
The best you monsters could do is to champion for a separate country where there will be no Christians

Just allow them. In fact, they are even fully aware just that they prefer to do it and rush to nairaland to start their usual propaganda against Islam.

What the Muslims call blasphemy is just an information discovered by Christians in their very Quran. Many a time, nothing is added or subtracted from it.

OK. Mohammed married 16 wives. It is a statement of fact but they call it blasphemy or insult.

Mohammed married an underaged girl. It is a statement of fact.

Mohammed said he is not sure of what will become of him or his followers - Sura 46:9. Do you call this blasphemy.

Whenever they make a claim of blasphemy, they should please let the public know about the details. What was said and why it was said.

The Christian population is too large to be intimidated by any group of persons. Our quietness should not be taken for foolishness.

In the Quran, they claim Jesus did not die. Is this not blasphemy against the truth we proclaim.

All we attempt to do as Christian is to show everyone the pathway of salvation. And Jesus is the only way. You can escape Jesus. You either receive him as your Lord and personal Saviour or meet him as your Judge.

So we cannot rest in this cuntry again for some mad goats? The most annoying part is that the so called blasphemous statement is never brought to public knowledge. It's is most likely that they just hide under the cloak of religious sensitivity and just pick random people to attack for no other reason than being Igbo or a Christian from Southern Nigeria or just being a Christian basically.

Religious intolerance is slowly becoming the norm and now, instead of demonic marauders attempting to harass and kill a citizen to be rounded up and prosecuted or even summarily executed, an innocent citizen has his freedom cut short in the name of protective custody!

What is all this nonsense? These terrorists need to be eliminated from our environments. The police need to arrest all those who assaulted Emeka and charge them to court. They should be tried and sentenced appropriately to show that we are a lawful community. These Hausa/Fulani people should not be pampered. They can't be allowed to impinge on the rights of people to freedom of expression. ****

Everything you wrote don't make sense as it's both sided. We need to review our religious beliefs in Nigeria and embrace our traditional religions which is far more tolerant than the Abrahamic religions we've embraced. Religion is more or less a belief than reality and people should nit take it too far. Both Christians and Muslims.

I am sure in my assertion not long ago.
The recent increase in the spate of fulani herdsmen-related violence is more as a result of will-power than ability.

The above is because when you have your grand patron at the helm of affair, you acquire a newfound confidence in ur activities. Pmb's presence in Aso rock is the sole reason for all the senseless religious killing we started experiencing since 2015. Every northerner now sees himself as a 1st among equal who can do whatever he likes.

The decline of BH related violence presently is also more of will-power, not ability.
BH has no islamic basis for continued violence, seeing that they are no longer ruled by an infidel, and the caliphate they desire may come right through from Pmb, when muslims attain their 'rightful' position in all sphere of Nigerian state.
I know of the chibok girls, they will be released soon, dramatically, so as not to raise eye-brows.

My brother, are you seeing what 'I am saw' in the future of yorubaland with the new found Abooki confidence in yorubaland? Can you see the trend that yorubaland is the new north. grin

The hausas will fall back and gauge yoruba reaction to this incident, of course they won't want to annoy hausa/fulanis, giving the hausas the confidence to continue.

In the next few weeks, another incidence like this will occur again. Just watch grin

There was confusion on Sunday in the Ketu area of Lagos State after some Hausa youths seized a chemist, identified as Emmanuel Emeka.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Emeka would have been lynched but for the intervention of policemen from the Ketu Police Division who quickly brought the situation under control.

A source told our correspondent that the victim had written a blasphemous word on a magazine, which triggered the anger of the youths.

The source said the police had already taken custody of the victim to save his life.

He added that the Hausa youths mobilised to destroy the victim’s shop, but were prevented by the policemen, who were deployed in the area.

He said, “It happened around 9pm on Sunday. The issue could have led to a bloody fight between Christians and Muslims in Ketu, but for the police.

“What happened was that the man wrote something on a magazine which the Hausa youths said was blasphemous. When other Hausa men saw it, they became angry and seized him.

“Some of his friends tried to rescue him and that almost started a fight. The police were alerted and they responded quickly and doused the rising tension.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, adding that the situation was under control.

She also confirmed that Emeka was in police custody.

She said, “The Lagos State Police Command averted what could have been a religious crisis between the Igbo community and the Hausa Muslim community due to the timely intervention of its operatives.

“At about 9.05pm, the Ketu division received a distress call that a boy was about to be lynched by some youths because he wrote blasphemous words on their magazine.

“The boy was rescued and kept in protective custody. His chemist shop was secured from destruction. Everywhere is calm as the police have intensified patrol in the area after successfully calming frayed nerves.”

When will people learn to be respectful and sensitive towards Muslims and Islam?

Those Niggas are short tempered and extremely unreasonable once their Prophet or their religion is involved.

I heard a Nigga got de-balled because his pee spelled 'Prophet Mohammad' (SAW) in Arabic on the ground. Since then, I have stopped peeing.

Many Muslims go cry when they die and discover that they have been scamed by their socalled prophet.

Free2ryhme: I believe you are looking at it the wrong way. There are always two sides. Now, YES, i agree with you that those guilty of taking the laws into their hands should be tried and sentenced accordingly, especially visiting harm and even in some cases killing those that say things you do not like, they should be taking to court and be killed too for taking the laws into their hands etc, i agree absolutely, but at the same time people should also be held accountable for the things they say and do. If for example you write a blasphemous statement about a religion that about 50 million Nigerians believe in, you should be held accountable for those utterances and be charged to court for maligning or writing malicious accusations about a religion, if you take microphone and stand in front of a mosque shouting and screaming about salvation and how those praying are in error etc, you should be charged to court for intruding on the peace and privacy of others etc and be punished for it as well in a court of law. That is the way to solve it, else we will just remain in this lawless society whereby christians can use microphone and church services to disturb communities all day in the name of worship or service, and disturb others on buses, homes, etc even when you tell them politely that you are not interested in their message of salvation, they go on and on and on in the name of spreading the gospel as well as muslims blocking major roads on fridays for prayers and even ambulances carrying patients that needs emergency care cannot pass through, all that is wrong and should be stopped.

Honestly, I don't know why these islamic fanatics and bigots are being tolerated and allowed to perpetuate evil everyday all in the name of fighting for whatever god they worship. Any god that is being fight for is weak and does not deserve to be worshipped. To me, any religion that encourages violence should be abolished. Anybody that tries any rubbish with me all in the name of fighting for a weak and feeble god must taste my wrath and that of my God (Jesus Christ).

op u r not alright. Tell us the blasphemous comment? Why did u name them Hausa Muslim community and then hypocritically call the other Igbo community without stating the religion of the Igbo community? U guys like playing victim after inviting unnecessary trouble and as usual the gullible and uncultured throlls of nairaland will start throwing insults without looking beyond the intention of wat the op seek to achieve...
