But why didn't you stop your friend when you knew what was happening? Why are you here acting like you care when you had the opportunity to help her out of a sticky situation, and you did nothing? You men think that because you spent money on a girl, then her body is yours to do as you please. But you're wrong. Whatever you choose to justify your action, rape is still rape. You have a choice to make here: Keeping friendship with that person you call a friend (which should say something about your person btw), or helping that girl corroborate her story if you're asked. I'll advice you distance yourself from that fellow and let him know exactly why you're doing it, unless of course you don't believe he's done anything wrong. ................ And women, you need to understand that you are in this world alone. There are very few people who have a moral compass, and fewer who use theirs. It might well be in your best interest to assume every man you meet is a beast, waiting to be unleashed. If you won't go the mile, don't even take the first step with him. If you're not into sex with the dude, don't lead him on. So many people out there want sex first, everything else they do for you is simply leading you there. Always make your position clear from the start-- If you don't want to date him, say so. If you don't want sex, say so. If you simply want to have fun with his money, say so. He is not a saint, and sin is way easier to perpetrate than practising self-control. Put a leash on greed-- it'll kill you before it lets you have anything. 7 Likes 4 Shares |

sukkot:What I wrote was exactly how I wanted it to be, I could've written 'hahaha' a thousand times and it would've meant the same thing I mean. Btw, I didn't highlight any parts of the post I responded to nor mine but even if I did, it still wouldn't have changed the intention of my post. I'm seriously finding it hard to believe you couldn't decipher what was meant, I really am but it's aight, some days are like that, anyways, if there's one thing I'm sure of, it is that, true Nlanders get it. |

My day has been so messed up. I went to see a friend of mine in his house. I was surprised the door wasn't locked and even the gate wasn't locked. I decided to help myself to a drink from his bar as soon as I entered the living room. As I was about serving myself, something told me to check on him in his room to see if he's there. As I approached his room I started hearing sounds. I decided to know what the noise was all about without making a sound. Thank God you said you don't have the mind of going to report as any attempt will fail. Case of rape can only be prove within a time limit so instituting such a case after 12-24hours is useless. The girl in question must have not taken her birth and get tested in government hospital. In as much as he is not trying to dump her, please stay clear of their relationship as any attempt may bounce back at you. 1 Like |

SmartChoices: I have been reading all your comments. You are sounding like a cymbal like you have never met ladies who believe they can earn without a single labor.. Do you know that the said lady also committed a crime and she can be prosecuted ? She is engaging in extortion and obtaining under false pretence.. I am not a party to rape. But go ask that silly girl right now, she will still Bleep that ur friend again.. I am saying this because i have heard similar things happen. 6 Likes |

exceltech:LOL! I laugh you @bold. Are you a guy? So you can easily call up a girl and asked her to return all the money you've spent on her? Can you really do that? Be sincere to your humble self. Is it not this same Nairaland that a guy created a thread about how he wanted to collect the phone he bought for a girl who played him. I couldn't hold myself from laughing at the insults he received that day. From the same set of Nairaland women and some pusssy niggas. He was called "broke" , "stingy", and other words. Simply because he wanted to collect back his phone. Now if you're a lady. How will you feel about such a guy? Be honest to yourself. A guy asking you to pay back all he has spent on you. It's still you that will settle down with your friends to insult and laugh at him. Please let's be realistic. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Ishilove:My dear, it has absolutely nothing to do with spending, but the girl asking why the guy is spending money on her, especially if they're not dating. What's wrong if she refuse accepting his spending habits by telling him "No! Don't spend your money on me". Since she's fully aware he's after her coochie. I'm not holding brief for the rapist, but heck the girl should have seen this coming since she knows what his motives were. 3 Likes |

You are as guilty as your friend in this crime. You will be charged with aiding and abetting the rape....a hideous crime before the law and nature! Why didn't you intervene when you noticed what that animal you call your brother and friend was about to do? It's only a matter of time bro, because if the law fails to hit you guys, nature won't disappoint. I'm sure you are in his house for another "free bar".....both of you will soon be behind bars! 2 Likes |

sweetcocoa:come on now, anyone with high IQ will see it the way I see it. Its a passive aggressive way of getting at someone. like you have something against cococandy but you chose this passive aggressive way of throwing jabs lolzz. but like said, maybe its not your intention and this is just the nigerian way of writing --- but in england or america or any western country they will see that as inappropriate. RennyX: ...Did they right an agreement that the money she received will be paid back with sex??.its not your fault, its because Nigeria is a law-less soceity..try your rubbish in saner climes and rot in jail for a long time ....You lots should keep raping girls until the day a mob lynches you for your nefarious activities..then you can tell the mob that girls have been 'eating your money without paying with sex'.. ...depraved beasts. 4 Likes |
