Chibuking81:
1. Have been answered
2. on stockbroker recommendation, I recommend Morgan capital security limited and CSL Stock broker for you.
Currently I use both and enjoy their service.
3. I use my Csl plat form to check now, costain is still on the list. Costain current price is 50 kobo per a unit.
OBAGADAFFI:
Since you have your CSCS number.
1. Register with another Stocks broker ( I use LEADCAPITAL)
2.visit CSCS office at Marina and submit the form below.

[b]Note: if your stock has been dematerialize by the former stock broker. You stocks are still intact .
Thank you chibuking and obagadaffi, but can you explain the concept of dematerializing my former stock?

Dematerialisation is the process
of converting physical shares
into electronic format. An
investor who wants to
dematerialise his shares needs to
open a demat account with
Depository Participant (stockbrokers are also part of depository participant). Investor
surrenders his physical shares
and in turn gets electronic shares
in his demat account.

What category will you place the shares bought through a broker and lodge with CSCS and the share certificate received through public offering?

Dematerialize is converting Paper certificate to electric certificate.

Secondary market - Shares bought through brokers .
Primary market- share bought through public offers.

Both category of shares are logged in your names at the company registrar's.
They will also reflects with your brokers.

Any share certificate received in paper form have not been dematerialize, when ever you buy any primary share ( i.e initial public offer) using stockbroker, the paper form don't need to reach your hand, because your account with your stockbroker including CSCS account will be electronically credited with the number of share unit you buy through them (your broker will process and credit your account by going to the registrar in charge of the company you buy their share).

Note: all share both paper form with you, and electronic form in your CSCS/Broker account, are with the registrar in charge of the company, that's why you can always get your unclaim dividend and recover your lost certificate from the company registrar, because all your details are in your registrar account and they are in charge.

Between now and two years coming, the chances of stocks moving up to the northern pole is higher than moving down to southern pole.

Now is a good time to invest, many that invest now will turn to billionaire and millionaire within two/ three year coming. (jijo ideology should be suspended for now)

1. 60k/90k stocks, like skye bank, unity bank and fidelity bank will likely move up to ₦6 within two/three years.

(a)@60k * 1,000,000 unit = ₦600,000 (six hundread thousand naira). If it move up to ₦6,
'@₦6 * 1,000,000 unit = ₦6,000,000.(six million naira)

2. ₦1/₦2 stocks, like diamond bank, fcmb, UCAP, AFRIPRUD and transcorp will likely move up to ₦8 within two/three years.
(a) @₦1 * 1,000,000 = ₦1,000,000 (one million naira) if it move up to ₦8
@₦8 * 1,000,000 = ₦8,000,000 (eight million)

3. ₦2.50/₦3 stocks, like Eterna and FBNH will likely move up to ₦15.
(a)@₦2.50 * 1,000,000 unit = ₦2,500,000. If it move up to ₦15.
@₦15 * 1,000,000 = ₦15,000,000.

4. ₦3.80/₦4 stock like UBA and Dangoteflour, will likely move up to ₦18

5. ₦5/₦6 stocks like Oando, Access bank, CCNN, Dangote sugar and UBN will likely move up to ₦25/30.

6. ₦14 stock, like zenith bank will likely move up to ₦45

7. ₦36/41 stocks, like okomu oil and Julius berger will likely move up to ₦100 and so many others too.
I remember when someone recommended buying FO on SMN when it was around N15, and we all laughed and called him a Prophet. Many of us must have regretted not listening 2 years later when it went to N250.

PS I am not saying it will happen again this time.

There's no big deal about this oando thing, all you need is have the stock in both your short term and long term portfolio, although I noticed that the short term portfolio has a better roe for now but in the long run the long term portfolio will still outperform it

Then invest in UBA, Dangcem, Dangsugar, and other stocks operating in those african countries.
They will be reporting higher profits after currency conversions or am I wrong ?

In that case the guy do not need any dematerialization of shares again cos he requested for how to transfer his shares from one broker to another

Let us know when you secretly throw your hard-earned money overboard and find yourself in a DEEP PIT....just remember not to continue digging when eventually you are in that PIT....
Except you are pursuing MMM on the wrong forum, I advise you will be better off mentioning the stocks so that others can assist you with KEY INFO you may never get 'FORMING' insider and 'GURU'..... grin grin grin..I was there before and bought a DECENT QUANTITY OF JUNKS that I later found out the transactions costs Ipaid, if recovered could buy off ALL these JUNKS... huh

I still have some of the JUNK STOCKS in my portfolio that my tenth generation will use to remember my irresponsible decisions some generations before..... grin grin grin.

Yes, I forgot to specifically mention the trans african bank.
Even Access is said to have strong operation in Ghana.
Imagine, just one million cedi earned translates to 100 million naira, according to 40manlappy's post above.
So some stocks offer the discerning investor platforms to play above the Nigerian economy.

Abeg chairmen in the house, I was going through the Income Statement of some companies, just trying to understand some of the fundamentals better, so I saw under 'other comprehensive income' for FBNH FY 2015, the amount there was unusually high - N40.7B. Please how's this likely to affect their 2016 result if at all? Or put differently how does the 'other income which may be reclassified into p/l' for a year, affect the next year's income?

Secondly wht's the difference between 'Exchange difference on translation of foreign operations', which is listed under Other Comprehensive Income and 'Net gains on Foreign Exchange', which is listed under profit and loss

I know it might have been discussed on this forum during earnings season earlier in the year, but if you don't mind reiterating it, I'll be glad.

For as much as I don't like talking to unschooled persons when they post doesn't mean that I don't know what I post... If you have a problem with what I post, the honorable thing to do is ignore my post... I don't like dignifying people by replying them... Stay off my post if indeed you are honorable and well schooled... Don't make a matter out of nothing... MR. The last time I checked your name is not TEAM UCAP
