@ Ngozi123,

Pls next time, never u come on a public forum to disgrace yourself due to opinions based on extremism and bigotry.
I helped you to do the facebook search in case u were too lazy to do it.

See many Ibirra people below from Okene answering Ozioma, i guess they all have Igbo mothers? LoL grin grin

This is the last time I will reply to you. This article says that her mother is Igbo and her father is Ebira.

http://ournollywood.com/mercy-johnson-okojie-biography-profile-life-story/

Btw, I didn't assume that she was Igbo because of her name, I did so because I've seen it around the net that she's half Igbo. If you can prove otherwise, using other sources then I'd happily accept that I'm wrong.

But wait o, why do Igbos like Anioma so much? Are we the only Ibo speaking group in the South-south? Why don't u guys try Ikwerre?

If Ikwerre people will not accept igbo, then i really see no reason why most igbos should be ready to kill any anioma person who says he is not igbo.
Igbo identity in Anioma to a large extent has become a personal thing and does not worry us so much.
A former boyfriend of mine was Ika but that guy was just so igbotic, maybe because he really had many igbo friends i dont know, but his father was not even a proud igbo, his mother was indifferent. One of my cousins married an Ndokwa man who believes he is an igbo, but my cousin herself from Anochia does not believe she is igbo cos her father never told her so.

I myself used to think that all Asaba people accepted igbo identity due to their proximity to igbo land only for me to also meet people from Asaba who claim their ancestors came from Igala land and hence cannot be igbo. I was surprised. So anyone who thinks he can divide Anioma land with a scissors based on igbo identity is just making a big mistake.
Anioma people never discrimimate or fight with each other based on Igbo identity issues. You find both igbo denials and proud igbos in one single anioma family and we intermarry each other regardless of igbo denial or acceptance.

Ikwerre people were in the old eastern region with the igbos and have shared the same political destiny with them since colonial times, the question is why are most ikwerres now denying igbo?
Most Ekpeye and Ogbas also deny igbo. A good number of Etches and Ndonis also deny igbo even though majority may accept.
Igbos should work on Rivers first before coming to kill Deltans. We were never classified together with Igbos or shared one political destiny from the beginning, the River Niger had always been the natural boundary.

Goodbye, both my sweet igbo pals, enemies, fine boys and miscreants all together. I remain yours sincerely (genieluv).

Pls show me an interview where she says with her own mouth that 'my mother is igbo'.
Many igbos are twisting her history in a desperate attempt to claim her, the new story i hear many igbos claiming now is that SIMON ACHUBA (kogi statae deputy governor) is an igbo. If nobody challenges them now that is how they will go about writing fake articles that Simon Achuba is an igbo man.

I think ignorance on the path of the igbos is just a problem they dont know middlebelt tribes at all. David Mark's middle name is ALECHENU, so many igalas, idomas and Igbirras, even down to Nasarawa state answer names like Odogwu, Okpanachi, Okolo, Onuche, Ozioku, Ozioma, Onyechi, Onyenta, Enenche, just as many igbos are claiming that Pst Paul Enenche is an igbo man. He is idoma!

Exactly bro! Ask her which language do Anioma's use in communicating during their annual Akwa-Ocha cultural gathering? Or the language of communication during the last Delta north political gathering that produced Okowa as sole candidate of the zone. Lol! Or, maybe she should tell me whether my inlaws from Ika spoke pidgin when they came for my elder cousin's hand in marriage last year.
For her information, Central Igbo is the means of communication in Delta north. And just like in the SE everybody is expected to understand the language. One is allowed to speak one's dialect be it Ika, Ukwuani or Aniocha, but when you want to communicate with your fellow Anioma, you drop your dialect and speak in the language that is generally comprehendable to others.
. There was no such gathering of that produced Okowa as the sole candidate. The gathering you are talking about wasn't the reason Okowa won the election. Anioma was greatly divided during the campaign period that the two most popular candidates were from Agbor and Owa.

Back to the topic. We don't speak central Igbo in Anioma. Whenever there is any Anioma gathering, everybody sticks to his dialect as they are mutually intelligible. They all have an infuse of Ika words though the languages sound different.

I have asked this question too, because i really have not attended any anioma meeting, but i was told that everyone just speaks his or her own dialect and replies with his or her own dialect as they all understand each others dialects being neighbours for hundreds of years. I have also observed on my own that most Ika and Ndokwa people understand Anochia dialect and many of them can switch to Anochia easily.

It's simple. Aniocha speaks central Igbo. Now do justice to this my earlier post to prove me wrong about Ubulu Ukwu dialect.

Abagworo:

Help us translate these phrases in Ubulu Ukwu dialect.

1 what is your name

2 my father is a man

3 come and take meat

Ok, never heard of this.

Ok, tell us which Aniomas are igbos and which are not.
I have seen Aniomas from Ika and Ukwuani who accept that they are igbos and i have also seen Aniomas from Enuani who reject Igbo identity. It's a divided thing. Like i said b4, igbo identity is not an issue to most Anioma people, that is one of the least of their worries. So such a trivial issue can never be a yardstick to divide Anioma nation.

i really don't know how to write the language, but i will reply u when i get someone to help me with the appropriate spellings. Dont blame me i grew up in the north.

Mercy Johnson is a full blooded Igbirra girl, her mother was never igbo. Many people feel that Ozioma is an igbo name, it is actually an igbirra name, an ebira friend of mine confirmed it to me that the name means 'a daughter has arrived in ibirra language, ask anyone you know from Okene. Many Igbirras, Igalas and Idomas answer names which look like igbo names but are not in the real sense. If you doubt this just go on facebook and search for 'Ozioma Okene', you will see many egbirra people with the name.

Lol! A tower of babel of sort I guess. You see the Aniocha dialect - similar to Onitsha Igbo - is like a central language that unites everyone in Anioma. And so when you have a political gathering or a social event everyone throws away their clan differences and speak a unified language. Nothing unites nde Anioma more than the Igbo language. Not even the nomenclature called Delta north nor the political divide called South-South, but the Igbo language.

Anyone that knows the average middlebelter will know that they are extremely down to earth peeps. We easily learn people's languages and acculturate. Mercy is fluent in yoruba as well as she grew up in Lagos. My idoma stepfather speaks igbo, hausa and yoruba + his own idoma and Tiv. He was even learning Enuani small small because my mother and grandmother and her sibblings always speak Enuani amongst themselves at home. So we are like that.

Stop this nonsense you're doing. Enuani is not central Igbo because Enuani people don't understand many things in central Igbo except those that learnt from outside Anioma or those that mingled with lots of Igbos in Asaba. There are too many Igbo people in Asaba and what many people here call Enuani is not actually Enuani. Though Asaba and Ibusa dialects are very closely related but many Asaba people still have some difficulties interacting with South Easterners. I know many people will doubt this but it's the truth

Are Yoruba people the reason why you hate and voted against Ngige?

Are Yoruba people the reason why you rejected AGPA and refused to vote for Ojukwu, your Biafra leader?

Chiwude is correct. This was the same point I made sometime ago: "From all indications, the Ikelike people were Igbo, and they were part of the early Eri subgroup of the Igbo people who occupy the stretch of land from Omambala area in the East to Agbor area in the West. That is to say, the autochthonous people of the Enuani area of Anioma are of the same lineage as the autochthonous people of Anambra area. They all belong to the same Eri subgroup of Igboland. Their dialect and culture, the elaborate tradition of Nze/Ozo titles and Okpala system of leadership, clearly show that these people on both sides of River Niger are of the same stock. River Niger is not a barrier; rather, it is an open access that allowed these people to spread out on both sides."

Stop wasting your time with that imposter. Igboid once posted a post regarding agbor and the freaking dude didn't even known who the author was and if he indeed was agbor, he would have known instantly who the dude was.
I mean the Nigga also made a blunder into think ugbodu peeps are ika...imagine. just IMAGINE what a so called "agbor" boy exposed on here. It was freaking Igboid (a freaking SE) has to tell the imposter that ugbodu people are NOT Ikas.

It's a equivalent to under his agbotean I'd when he was pretending to be Owa and kept claiming rubbish and denying a well known statement their king stated aka owa people migrated from Nri kingdom. It was a freaking igbodo guy had to tell a so called "owa" a well known and documented statement about their king and even provide him the book where he made the claim...IMAGINE.

I guess since he was smacked silly left and right by Ogbuefi and got him so embarrassed and exposed as a fraud that the Agbontaen I'd had to be retired and he opened a new I'd claiming Agbor.

Like if you are going to pretend to be ika left and right, I would think after an ika smacked him silly under his Agbontaen I'd that the Nigga had to at least learned about the Ikas before embarking on the same pathetic behavior but alas, some people have ZERO SHAME

You are blind. That fellow started using harsh words on me just because i said that there are certain attitudes igbos posses that Anioma people do not. He insulted me to list the attitudes out and all i did was say that many igbos have a pompous, proud, boastful and arrogant disposition, how is that insultive? I only stated my opinion and that of many anioma people and even mkst Nigerians, they will all tell you that is how igbos are. Even the guy himself did not dispute all that i said, he was trying to justify these dispositions of igbos. So pls learn to follow a thread as a civilized and cultured individual paying attention to every detail.

Each time I start believing you're getting sensible you mess it up again. You call the Igbo arrogant, pompous, domineering etc and then you're now asking "how is that insultive(sic)?" You should apologize.

Bigfrances21, Ikechu1 and the rest here. Please let act more civilized and debate wisely on this issue before us. Less human trashing cool

Let talk of how we can contribute to the creation of Anioma. The Onus is on all of us. Whatever sacrifices (Onitsha) we need to surrender to see tonit that Anioma is re united to us, we must do that.

Less talk on Biafra, more Emphasis on Anioma. Nnamdi Kanu have done so well. Let take it from him. No Biafra talk biko! Igbo will be great again when we unite for better political position in this country.

Anioma is not about Ezechime Clan cos The Ukwuanis and Ndi Aboh are not from the Ezechime clan. Their kith and kins are the Mgbidi and Oguta of Imo (this is what Igbophobia dont know grin Ignorance is bliss to the stupid). Ogbaru will remain in Anambra while Onitsha goes to Anioma. Igbodo in Ika, their kith and kins are far away in Etche (rivers state! Omo see distance cheesy)

Igbo di ukwu!!!

Why shouldn't we talk about biafra? What are we as people benefiting from Nigeria...just name am, make I hear. Tell me just ONE thing we are benefitting from Nigeria, just name one.

Nigeria as old as it is is one of the most backwards nation in Africa. Even other Africans despise the country. The economy is in complete shitholr. One freaking dollar is equally to 500 naira. Electricity una lack despite claiming "oil producing country". The country is so terrible that almost every month they have a killing. Leaders and elders are all corrupt. There's never been a free, fair election ever. Gang is a must in that country. Education is in shames that even the citizens travel to other African nation including the ones at war to get a quality education. Every thing about Nigeria is a shithole so I don't even know why you think we should be discussing about it and not about what our ancestors wanted. Have you ever read igbo history before? If you did, you would have known majority of the tribes that are found in Nigeria, our ancestors wanted nothing to do with the. Only Zik wanted Nigeria and even he isn't that regarding back home compared to Ojukwu (who wanted to break the nation)...now ask yourself why?

As far I'm concerned, Anioma state should become a reality...most definitely something I hope but as for Nigeria...if Isis invade it and burn it to the ground, I wouldn't even give two rats ass as long as my people were left alone.

Btw: I never said Anioma are all Ezechima clan. Heck My people sef aren't descendant of Eze chime contrary to popular belief.

Never in that your miserable life dare EVER speak for Asaba EVER EVER again your wannabe agbor loser.

Btw: Agbontaen SHUT THE Bleep UP.

We all know this is your new I'd after getting beaten silly in the past by that igbodo guy.

You freaking exposed yourself when you went around claiming that others are accusing you of being Agbontaen despite NOONE ever did.....Likewise, you just exposed yourself AGAIN. Your OWN guilty conscious exposed you.

And btw: do not ever put yourself in the level as Emeka. He's a REAL anioma. You're a BINI pretending to be ANIOMA.

Let me repeat this once more: IF you EVER IN YOUR Miserable Life speak for Asaba again, may you get slaughtered in your sleep. Ewu
it has now moved from you are Bini to a Bini wannabe? And Emeka Esogbue is a true Anioma today? And tomorrow he's anti Igbo? I thought according to you people, Igbo acceptance is what makes one a true Anioma. And issuing empty threats? Reason fthey call you people chest beaters lol. You're no Anioma person. And you're in one SE state deceiving yourself and your fellow Igbos that you're Anioma and residing in the States. And someone called me Agbontaen on this thread and I'm not Agbontaen.

Another ranting by the resident EDIOT who continously showcase her crass IGNORANCE About everything.

Ngozi123 is right just slightly off... Mercy Johnson is Igbarria mixed with Igbo (her grandmother). She said so HERSELF you dumb b1tch.

No doubt and even from his tune that dude is Agbontaen reloaded, Agbontaen reincarnated or whatever you call it. How have I missed this puzzle? The so-called ANIOMA VOICE has been infiltrated by Bini wannabes and other Ediod/Ijoid minorities of the South-South which plan is to drag our kins to remain stuck with them. True Anioma's should stay clear of that group.
