AntiIPOB: As a matter of fact, the Nigerian constitution is the highest legal document in the land and is Supreme. But! Nobody forced us to sign charters making us subject to the ECOWAS court. The court asked for damages of #15million to be awarded to Dasuki plus cost of Dasuki's legal fees - Dasuki can always say his lawyers fees is #1billion if he likes e no concern anybody . If they ignore this ruling, it only plays to the narrative that the Nigerian government disobeys court orders...............considering that this ruling was issued in dasuki's absence and till now the DSS has refused to release Dasuki to attend any of his EFCC cases where they are accusing him of fraud and illegally diverting public funds. The question remains; why has Federal government refused to allow Dasuki to appear in court to defend himself against the charges. Why prosecuting him in court and the media with EFCC and then detain him without any legal cause using DSS?? Is it possible that FG doesn't have any real case that can be proven in a court withy competent Jurisdiction?? They can't lock up Dasuki forever and if he dies there Buhari is forever in soup.... Time will tell all............. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Have you ever wondered why the Federal Government is deliberately frustrating the trail of Dasuki? The Federal Government know very well that any competent judge will dismiss the case against Dasuki. Forget about the media trials at least it is on record that the arms used to defeat Boko Haram were bought by the last regime. 3 Likes |

Corruption in Africa. Is ECOWA herself not corrupt. When almost all Nigeria's money was being looted and stolen away, ECOWAS was sleeping but when corruption is being fought at least a little in Nigeria ECOWA have woken up. Corruption is truly fighting back. But not withstanding let right for bail for accused in Nigeria be respected and let him be granted bail and let him also be promptly and justly prosecuted and if convicted let him be punished as it is good and right whether by imprisonment and so on. Thank you 2 Likes |

All these embarrassments just because a certified dullard is in power. There is no substitute for the rule of law. If the govt has evidence to nail Dasuki that's fine but follow the rule of law. It baffles me that people like Itse Sagay, Falana, Malami, Udoma and etal can't advice buhari accordingly. Now Dasuki will smile home with 15M tax payers money. Is this govt not increasing his loots? 1 Like |

michelz: I'm glad you said accused. When you practice democracy, you have to follow the rules. You can't pick and choose which to follow and which ones not to. If a court grants him bail, guess what? You have to release him on bail. Until he is proven guilty, you have to assume he is innocent. You all want to live in a great country but don't want to do the things that make other great countries great. 2 Likes |

President99: The ECOWAS Court is not ruling on the charges of illegal possession of firearms and defence funds embezzlement. The court heard Dasuki's Counsel submissions that his client was illegally arrested, which is why the Nigerian Government WILL pay 15 million Naira to Sambo Dasuki. Nigeria will pay because it is a signatory to the charter and treaty that set up the ECOWAS Court. The United States of America is not a party to the ICJ treaty and thus is not bound by it's rulings and not subject to it's authority. A bit of study will save you the embarrassment of such rants as you've displayed in future. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
