Many marriages, life and future have been destroyed because of ignorance about our genetic lives. Many have become an ATM machine to some pastors because they failed to seek medical checkup before concluding that their predicament are spiritual. Your partner may be handsome with 150 packs or loaded with manchester united, if he or she does not match your genotype ''dont be blinded by Love'' or you regret it for the rest of your life. Genetic compatibility is just an aspect of marriage which we must take with seriousness or will you ever forgive yourself if your children die every year? Will you be happy spending over board on kids that are likely not to survive in the end? If no, why risk? Below are the information i think everyone of us should know before marriage

GENOTYPE AND ITS APPROPRIATE SUITOR'S

AA + AA EXCELLENT
AA + AS GOOD
AA + SS FAIR
AS + AS BAD
AS + SS VERY BAD
SS + SS EXTREMELY BAD

OTHERS ARE AC, SC WHICH ARE ALSO ABNORMAL GENOTYPE

Genotype AA can marry across. No risk of having SS but can only have AS. AS should only mary someone with genotype AA, on no account should AS marry AS, they will have a child with sickel sell. Same applies to AC or AS. AC and AS combined can produce AA, AS, A, SC which is the sickel cell

COMPATIBLE BLOOD TYPES

O- CAN RECEIVE 0-
0+ CAN RECEIVE 0+, 0-
A+ CAN RECEIEVE A+, A-, O+, 0-
B- CAN RECEIVE B+, 0-
B+ CAN RECEIEVE B+, B-, O+, O-
AB- CAN RECEIEVE AB-, B-, A-, O-
AB+ CAN RECEIVE AB+, AB-, B+, B-, A+, A-, O+, O-

HOW YOUR PARTNER'S BLOOD GROUP DESCRIBE THEM

A+ GOOD LEADERSHIP
A- HARDWORKING
B+ CAN SACRIFICE FOR OTHERS AND VERY AMBITIOUS,TOLERANCE
B- NON FLEXIBLE, SELFISH AND SADISTIC
O+ BORN TO HELP
O- NARROW MINDED
AB+ VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND
AB- SHARP AND INTELLIGENCE

CHARACTERISTICS YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT FOR

1. An individual with type A blood will react against type B or type AB blood

2. An individual with type B blood will react against type A or type AB blood

3. An individual with type O blood will react against type A, type B, or type AB blood

4. An individual with type AB blood will not react against type A, B, AB OR O

RHESUS FACTOR SYSTEM

Getting married to a partner with incompatible blood group can result in ''still birth'', most women with O- usually have difficulties during child birth. They mostly resolve to surgery. A rhesus negative (-ve) woman should not marrya rhesus positive (+ve) man but a rhesus positive woman can marry a rhesus negative man. But however, if both couples have the same rhesus status they are free from complications

Very important thing to do.

Some love birds will still ignore the genotype test result after been told they're not compatible.

@quoted men i have seen crap on this forum but to present this load of poo and even give it a name! (There is nothing like "RHESUS FACTOR SYSTEM" ) undecided undecided

Now listen before you Educate ignorant people with nonsense!

There is no harm in marrying anyone with a different "BLOOD GROUP'. Everyone is born with a certain blood type that is either Rh positive or Rh negative. Rh-positive blood is more common than Rh-negative. (O,A,B and co distinctions Are "ONLY" relevant when you want to perform blood transfusion)
There is "NO" problem for you if marry a partner with the same blood type/grouping as yourself.

BUT the person's "Genotype" matters that's why churches recommend tests most times before marriage that is the only "important factor" that people should learn not this childish obfuscate load of crap that you presented!!! #cave doctor

This post is poorly researched!

All that matters is your "Genotype" if you are "AA" you can marry anyone!

Your blood group/type is only relevant when you want to receive blood #google

I understand that only the genotype matters..

But, since I'm blood type O, Op just made me so curious about my blood type.
