Y'all chill on Elampìro's boyfriend, I think he should seal his legacy at Man Utd albeit from the bench or stands...He's a legend and I hope he breaks Sir Bobby's record. |

See as rooney don go embarrass himself again today? Not even funny anymore.... Anyway make I await the review of the blindfolded british press 1st as well as those of our resident "edo m.o.d (rooney affairs)" so that I go see which version of both their spin cycles to know the one wey I go laff pass! ![]() |

Rooney v Malta: Whereas Henderson created four chances - all in the first half - and played a part in both goals by showcasing a superb range of passing, Rooney created only one, though he did manage two shots on target. Rooney was generally efficient in possession, completing 87% of his passes, but was again surpassed by Henderson (93%) in that regard and lost possession 23 times, more than any other England player. Despite seemingly lining up as the holding midfield player behind Rooney and Dele Alli, Henderson actually ended up having a higher average position than Rooney, with only the two centre-backs and goalkeeper playing deeper than the skipper. He did, at least, work hard to win the ball back, making five tackles - more than any other England player except Gary Cahill - and gained possession on 13 occasions, which was a team high. Goal |

joeace2020:Am not worried, The season is still young and we've the slowest striker in the league whose game isn't build around speed but go still gives us goals see the 2nd team from the bottom na Crystal palace(benteke)you can't run with this guy's no be their style be that. Running is important but knowing when to run and when to conserve energy is even better. I still expect us to rise alittle but if we no dey top 10 am not worried. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by joeace2020(m): 8:31pm On Oct 08, 2016 |
SIRcumalot:You should be worried bro... The teams that make it to the top four or win the league are teams that know how to run. The ones that are mid table or relegated are usually the ones that lob most of the time. If you watch our games this season you'll see that has become a prominent feature.. . mostly when fellaini was still being used. I do hope with Herrera and Mata coming in there'll be more passing and with it running but lobbing balls because we have some tall men upfront won't win us the league. That one is a fact. The tall man better stay up front n poach so the runners can run because his sluggishness sometimes infuriates me. |

| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by eph12(m): 11:44pm On Oct 08, 2016 |
joeace2020:This is very clear to those that actually follow the trend of football in recent years. High pressing tempo win matches and winning matches gives you the league. If any top team is serious about carrying the league then they should be prepared to run their opponents off the field always. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SIRcumalot: 4:53am On Oct 09, 2016 |
eph12:Jose won his last title without high pressing, Raneri won the title without high pressing, Except the trend of football changes every year I don't see why we have to play in a manner that doesn't favour our current starting 11. Pressing na the new fad now, like it is something football hasn't seen before. |

Let no Elampiro come and tell me Rooney is the best thing since sliced bread. Finished and should retire with dignity before the people who use to love him make his life a living hell

This is why England managers are a joke. This is Gareth Southgate(the yes man) on Rooney playing in the Malta game 'But those guys are the guys who desperately wanted to play for England again and again and again and put their necks on the block — and Wayne falls into that category. |

joeace2020:Eph12 did. Leicester play great football last season but if after all this money playing like that is the target, something is wrong. |

These are definitely not the best of times for Elampiro... ![]() Phil Jones (the Sickler) is probably about to retire prematurely from the Sport while his (Elampiro's) Football Idol appears to be too fat to even "ginger" for ball on the pitch..hence his omission from the club's starting 11 in recent times. I really sympathize with our Edo-born brother |

Imagine if Rooney eventually buckles up and leads the team to the title, becoming our highest goal scorer and player of the year in the process, in a world not in elampiro's fantasy ![]() Every single one of you will be chased outta nairaland |

PietroRico:E no go funny oh.... He would be too quick to highlight his opinion of Nairaland being filled with people "who don't know ball".....after spamming the whole thread with articles and stats relating to Rooney (even from his Everton days) Fortunately, Arsenal have a better chance of winning the Champions league than for Rooney to turn it around so no wahala... |

I remember dropping an article here which stated that we have created the most chances this season so what park the bus philosophy are you talking about? We are the slowest, but we are sitting comfortably above the fastest |
