Naija is a very very diabolical place so sometimes you cant blame people for being cautious or secretive. Although some people take it to astronomical heights!

The fact is i have learnt not to allow such things bother me, because you really dont know the reason for the paranoia, for instance if someone has had a few issues getting or staying pregnant, they may not be soo inclined to broadcasting it and may prefer to wait till there is a live child at the end before the jubilation starts . Na their belle, and their pikin.

You can be generic in your responses, you dont have to give exact EDDs, sex or how many you are carrying if you dont want to.
However it is when people give answers assuming you are stupid that baffles me.

That baffles me too.

In my own case, the person in question was more like a close "monitoring spirit" in my life, but i didnt care or see it as an issue neither was I evasive towards her for one single day.

She would always call to ask for one thing or the other: advice, strategy... "how did you do this in your home; how do you & ur hubby handle this that etc; pls can you help me check when my free period is; pls if I want a baby boy first, how do I go about the sex selection etc..."
Yes we were close like that!

Infact every time then, she would call me up & be like..."Babe you're looking bigger in this pics, like say belle don enter".
And I'll honestly go..."Nne no o, belle no dey my agenda now o. But if i get belle you know say you must know now. I go tell you now".

So her funny act was just unnecessary; an experience in a whole new dimension & just had no justification whatsoever cheesy

They say so but who has time to be doing all of that. I have tried it before and my son even slept off before I had gone quarter way. Slept off from hunger because he woke up 30 mins later raging and angry. Lol.

Good morning sabi mama,pls my cs left upper area is paining me,is it normal and how long will i take to heal... The incission area hadnt healed up yet but i clean everyday with spirit shd i still get some stain (mucus like)hope its is normal.

My thighs joint area also aches

Madam Zaynie, you won't understand the only person that my friend heed her advice is HER MOTHER, imagine her son is weighing 15kg @5months and they mum came to visit her for my koro koro eyes the mum was telling her daughter that the baby is loosing weight.

I HAVE TOLD THE HUBBY NOW, HE said he knew dat while the son is creche while the wife is a house wife that he is CONFUSED....

Erhmmn n.. i dont understand? Wait oh! The husband knows and can do nothing? Abeg wey the husband mama? Is she alive? I want to assume that there is at least one sane person in the family.

Surely your friend has unadressed mental issues and her mother sef is not helping.
Well maybe when she manage to kill like 4 of their children maybe then the husband will see something wrong in what she is doing. And that will raise the alarm that something is wrong to other members of the family. But does more than one child have to suffer and even die before something can be done?

What is he confused about? He better carry the baby and drop with his own mother if the wife cant control herself and seek help. Any how wey trouser wan tear make e tear!

It's never too early to start, you can start buying once you know the sex or even buy unisex colors before then. Yeah, 20k is not bad for basic baby items. Good flask (medium size) is about 3200-3500, pack of 7 bodysuits about 3500, sleep suits set of 3 is 2500-3000. You still have another 10k to buy some other things like socks, caps, mittens, baby soap, cream and oil.

I am actually keeping my preg away from my parent inlaw cos my mil will tell me not to tell my fil cos he will tell his house wife and use it to mock her own children cos her own daughters that has been married (one 8yrs the other 3yrs )has not been TTC. Then my mil will be unusually protective and scared of the unknown and will call me several times an later turn to say she used all her upkeep money to call me. She is just very controversial she might even tell me to move to her house cos my DH works offshore.
Someone that told me not to be going to my parents house too much of which I don't go there as such.

And I also want to surprise many people especially his immediate family cos my DH did hyena operation at age 10 so they are scared that he can't have children.
I know his siblings will be upset cos his elder brother did the same thing that's because he last his 2nd child at birth and the wife had 2miscarriages after then so it was a surprise to the family and I liked it.
